Cozy Mountain Cabin Nelson 151 near Bold Rock Cidery and DB Brewery

The owner thought of EVERY detail. This was a wonderful stay, made even more special by the care the owner put into the rental. We were so appreciative of her thoughtfulness!

This property was amazing! Absolutely beautiful views. The cabin was furnished with everything you could ask for, down to, chocolates, homemade brownies and a selection of tea. The owner greeted us on our way to the cabin and was even plowing and salting the long driveway. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place❣️ only thing we’re the substantial amount of lady bugs in the cabin. The bed was uncomfortable 😣 only had soft pillows. Other than that We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin has great spaces - main living room, sitting area loft, and screened porch. It was very well outfitted, and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook a full meal. Lorraine goes the extra mile to make it welcoming and convenient for her guests. The fresh eggs and brownies were very much appreciated! The cabin is very convenient to all of the area attractions, but because of its location on a lovely country road, there is no traffic noise.

The cabin was cute and cozy just like it pictured. It was super close to what we wanted to do and a perfect little place for our getaway! We are already planning to come back this summer.

What a delightful spot! The host thought of everything, from half-and-half in the fridge for our coffee to universal chargers on each nightstand. The location is gorgeous, with plenty of spots to enjoy the views and the quiet mountain air. The hostess is friendly and knowledgeable and recommended the perfect place for Sunday brunch. We will be back!

The host was amazing and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Everything that we wouldve needed was provided. We really appreciated the homemade treats and fresh eggs . Accommodations were very well kept and comfortable.

Host was so sweet and accommodating! The house was clean and had lots of extra supplies. I did dock one star cause the futon was perhaps the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on, but the beds were both great!

We had the perfect weekend in this cute and cozy cabin. Just five minutes away from bold rock brewery! We had so much fun going to the distilleries/breweries and the local shops. Would highly recommend staying in this cabin!

This was our second stay at Lorraine’s cozy cabin and it was just as wonderful as our first! The location is convenient, as it is within 20 minutes of several of our favorite local wineries, breweries, trails, and attractions. Lorraine is incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and even left us brownies, eggs, and firewood. We highly recommend!

One short, comfortable night, with brownies on the table to greet us, fresh eggs from resident chickens in the fridge, and thoughtfully selected details that met our needs and more had we had the opportunity to stay longer. Would absolutely return.

Perfect location and accommodations. Just far enough off the main roads to be secluded but not too far to go out and do things. The cabin is set up with everything you need and lots of extras. We will definitely book again.

We stayed for one short night in the cozy cabin and were sorry to leave. The setting is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and only the sounds of chickens and wild birds. The inside of the cabin was sparkling clean. Lorraine thoughtfully left fresh eggs and butter, a selection of beer and wine, coffee and tea, and brownies. The bed was very comfortable. The loft bedroom requires using a narrow spiral staircase, which didn't bother us but important to note. The screened in porch was just lovely for relaxing in the peace and quiet. Wish we could have stayed another night or two.

Everything was just as advertised! Clean and beautiful! Mountain View was gorgeous and house was lovely! Truly enjoyed the visit!

Excellent accommodations, but it was so peaceful on the property it gave me time to do a reset. Sitting outside by the fire pit or on that great screened in porch was not why I picked the property, but it was the thing I enjoyed the most. You are so close to food/shopping and lots of nature trails that I recommend this to anyone who needs a break from their schedule. Great host / great location.

This cabin had everything we were looking for. Its location was perfect for the event we attended at Devil's Backbone. The setting is so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch, sipping the locally roasted coffee the host provided, and watching the wildlife. We hope to return next year.

Sent a couple here for their honeymoon and they had an amazing time!

The first day through no fault of the property we ran into a problem, I broke my ankle right before we got to the property, wen got the ER and returned to the Cabin the following morning, we only used the lower portion for our stay and we had plenty of room and comfort.

Not only was the cabin cozy and the property peaceful, the drive up was enjoyable as well. There is much to do in the surrounding areas. Plenty of hiking for the outdoor enthusiast, historical areas for the scholar, wineries/cideries for the foodie inclined and a myriad of antique/ vintage shops for the shopper all within a 30 minute drive. The cabin itself has everything you need for a quiet retreat away from the city; we particularly enjoyed sitting by the firepit sipping coffee and watching the young deer roam around us. The chickens and ducks are alot of fun to listen to as well. We would definetly book the Cozy Mountain Cabin again.
