It was very clean, smelled nice, and made for a fantastic bachelorette party getaway!

This place is a amazing. The cabin and grounds are clean, and well-cared for, and tucked deep into the woods so you have total privacy. The photos on VRBO and Expedia don't do it justice. It's incredibly charming. The property managers were really sweet and helpful too. The rustic fire place inside the cabin was one of my favorite features. I am so happy we settled on this cabin to celebrate our anniversary. My wife loved it and the cabin is super cozy!

This is our second stay at The Love Shack. We adore this clean secluded cabin with charm. We especially appreciate the outdoor living room to relax and enjoy the breeze. Highly recommend.

We loved our weekend getaway at the Cozy Love Shack with its sweet little kitchen that has everything you need, comfy rocker recliners in living room, and beautiful outdoor covered seating area. Nestled on a hill in the woods the nights were so peaceful allowing for a good night's rest, and as seniors we appreciated and used the outdoor stairs to the bedroom loft more often than the indoor stairs/ladder. The tall shower head was a welcomed surprise as was the thought and care that went into providing quality amenities.10/10 on this one!

Great overnight stay in a beautiful cabin on gorgeous property! Everything was super clean and my lab enjoyed wondering around and was safe to explore. Really loved the outdoor living area with the fireplace. Can't wait to stay again!

The cabin is cozy and secluded, yet not far from civilization. It has been beautifully restored and you can see part of the old cabin. It was too cold for the outdoor living room, sadly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great little cabin for a quiet getaway. Host was super and responded to messages almost instantly. Was having hard time keeping fireplace going so we sent host message asking about some more seasoned wood which they responded AND had some wood delivered in 15 minutes. Cabin leaves nothing to want as it is well supplied and easy to find everything with little notes everywhere to help make your stay a real pleasure. Hoping to book again in the spring or summer to visit waterfalls in the area. Thanks to the hosts.

Beautiful spot! Owners are very easy to deal with and welcoming

It was just as listed and had everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. We cooked our breakfast and dinners and great watched movies in the evenings. After touring all day each day that we were there, we rested really well in the comfortable bed in the loft. We loved every minute of our trip and staying in the cozy cabin! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with others!

From arrival to checkout, everything was seamless the host’s communication was clear, friendly, and timely. The place was immaculately clean and well maintained, you could tell the host pays attention to details. The layout and amenities exceeded expectations; comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches like extra towels, and toiletries. Location was perfect: a quiet neighborhood with easy access to local dining and attractions, yet still peaceful when you’re winding down.

Cabin is perfect for seclusion but close to hiking and local shopping. Perfect for a getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay. Pictures don’t do this cabin justice. We were on our way to the Smoky Mountains, and my husband told me we should just stay here the rest of the week. It is beautifully decorated with extra attention to details. It’s definitely a 10/10. We will be back again.

Clean nice private area to relax enjoyed the outdoor fireplace area location is close to Cookeville and surrounding falls areas only improvements would be an upstairs restroom had to leave couple days earlier than planned but enjoyed the stay

Hostess was very kind and great communication. The cabin was adorable and loved that it was buried in the woods. The rock formations by the driveway were really cool. The outside area was very welcoming, relaxing and bigger than expected. perfect place to watch animals and birds in the morning with coffee. Love the history vibe to the cabin. We appreciated the good quality coffee and fresh eggs in the fridge.

Stay was fantastic! Cabin & property was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing , Id say was at night it was idd not having curtain or blinds on first floor windows. But that was the only thing! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Beautiful cabin. The only complaint was the fireplace inside was does not vent properly. It set off all fire alarms and didn’t draw smoke.

My friends and I stayed at The Love Shack from a recommendation from a friend of the owners. The cabin was very cozy and clean! We loved the outdoor “treehouse” and quiet area. Would definitely recommend anyone stay here if they are in the Cookeville area!

Everything lived up to the billing as advertised and then some. I was in Cookeville for business and this cabin is only 15 minutes from Downtown yet is very secluded with all the privacy you could ask for. This is the woods. Now be aware that it’s really the woods so there is wildlife, bugs, and if solitude bothers you then look elsewhere. Perfect for me though. Had some interaction with the owners prompted by me and they are amazing people. They leave all the instructions and this cabin had everything I needed. Clean, rustic, and with all the modern amenities. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Great location, close to several waterfalls and nice downtown area of Cookeville.. Property was one of the best we've stayed at.. Even though it rained we were able to enjoy the covered porches and outdoor area.. Great place to stay and we hope to return

The cabin was perfect for our quiet Valentines weekend getaway. The kitchen was stocked for our needs. The king bed was firm yet comfortable. We definitely would return again.

We needed to come into Cookeville for event for the TTU baseball team on a Sat night. We decided to just take a look to see what was available for the weekend and we found this amazing cabin so we figured we would just stay the weekend and make a nice relaxing trip out of it. The cabin was about 15 minutes from the baseball field so far enough away to feel like we’re getting a mini vacation and close enough to be able to drive back-and-forth.The cabin has everything you would need for the weekend and the outdoor fireplace was a perfect spot to relax under a blanket by the fire with a book and a glass of wine.

It was very cozy Had planned staying this weekend But when I returned home Broke my hip while unpacking my car Had surgery, be a while before I can return But I loved everything about it

I say rustic but with all the modern amenities. We loved the Love Shack and also toured the Cottage before we left, which would be great for a bigger party. This place is even better than the pics and the pics are good! HA! Check it out!

We had a lovely stay, the home was built back in the day but the updates they have made to it make it feel like new. Cozy and peaceful spot, would definitely stay again.

Great kitchen and views. Only thing I would add are some wine glasses! Other than that, the place had everything we needed and more. The hill to get there is a great workout as well if you’re looking to go on a run. It’s a very safe neighborhood.

This was the perfect spot for our anniversary weekend! We loved the set up and seclusion of the property, yet in was only about 15 minutes from good restaurants and activities. We were able to visit some waterfalls in the area, as well. It was an amazing trip!

Very nice cabin would come and stay again

We loved our stay at the Love Shack. I love places with character and this cabin did not disappoint! It has the best smells of cedar wood which instantly set the tone when you walk in the door. I was in awe of the cabin finishes and cozy decor. It had everything we needed for a short stay but would definitely come back for a little longer next time! The outdoor area with a fireplace and tv has comfy furniture and a table for eating. We spent our night in the outdoor area playing cards by the fire and watching tv. So relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks to the owners for being accommodating and quickly responding to our questions. The location is nice because it’s about 15 minutes to Cookeville which has tons of restaurant options! It was about 25 minutes to Center Lake which wasn’t a bad drive…we came for the lake but honestly I wanted more time at the cabin!

This is a very cool property to relax at up in the trees. Rustic cabin that has been beautifully restored and brought up to date with all areas updated to be enjoyed. We sat outside under the covered entertainment area and relaxed for hours, only a couple of bees flew by to interrupt the silence. I will definitely stay again for a quick getaway with my wife.

Very clean. Well stalked with supplies! We loved the beautiful setting in the woods! Very private. Host brought eggs which we appreaciated! Loved sitting in the outdoor gazebo with a fire and were able to get in to Netflix right there on large screen tv. Listening to nature all around us!
