Antler Ridge Getaway
Escape to the peaceful beauty of the North Georgia mountains at Antler Ridge Getaway, a secluded, authentic log cabin where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Nestled on over 2.5 private acres near the top of Laurel Ridge Mountain, this three-story retreat offers the perfect balance of privacy, relaxation, and convenient access to everything the Blue Ridge and Ellijay areas have to offer.
Whether you're gathering around the fire pit under a canopy of stars, soakingin the private hot tub while listening to the sounds of the forest, or enjoying a quiet morning coffee on one of the screened porches, Antler Ridge Getaway is designed to help you slow down and reconnect with nature.
Inside, you'll find warm cabin décor and plenty of space for families and groups to spread out. The fully equipped game room features an 8-foot pool table, large-screen TV, board games, and a trundle bed with two comfortable memory foam twin mattresses. The main living area offers a cozy gas fireplace, while the wood-burning stove provides extra warmth and ambiance during cooler months. High-speed Wi-Fi, multiple smart TVs, and a DVD player ensure you'll have all the comforts of home when you're ready to relax indoors.

The cabin comfortably sleeps up to eight guests with:
• King bedroom (upper level)
• Queen bedroom (main level)
• Queen bed in the open loft
• Twin trundle bed (two twin mattresses) in the game room
Two full bathrooms are conveniently located on the main and upper levels.

Well-behaved pets are welcome when included on the reservation and the applicable pet fee has been paid.

Outdoor Living
The outdoor spaces are what truly make Antler Ridge Getaway special. Enjoy:
• Large private hot tub
• Two screened porches
• Spacious deck with picnic table
• Large fire pit area perfect for evenings under the stars
• Peaceful wooded surroundings

Experience Mountain Wildlife
One of the greatest joys of staying here is experiencing the abundant wildlife. The mountain is a no-hunting, no-shooting area, making it common to see white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and a variety of birds throughout your stay. It's not unusual for deer to wander through the property while you're relaxing on the deck or gathered around the fire pit.
As with any mountain environment, wildlife should always be respected from a safe distance. Black bears, snakes and other native animals occasionally pass through the area, so guests should avoid leaving food outdoors and securely dispose of trash. While wildlife sightings are a memorable part of the mountain experience, a little awareness helps ensure both guests and animals remain safe.

Getting Here
The cabin sits at approximately 2,100 feet in elevation near the top of Laurel Ridge Mountain. The final mile to the cabin is a gravel mountain road with several steep sections, adding to the authentic mountain experience. The roads are typical for the area and are maintained by the mountain community to help keep them accessible year-round.
Most guests reach the cabin without difficulty in a standard vehicle under normal weather conditions. However, all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive can provide additional confidence, particularly during periods of heavy rain, snow, or icy conditions.

Explore the Area
Although you'll feel wonderfully secluded, you're never far from adventure.
The Benton MacKaye Trail—connecting to the Appalachian Trail—is just a short walk from the cabin, with a beautiful mountain stream running alongside portions of the trail.
Downtown Blue Ridge is approximately six miles away and offers charming shops, local restaurants, wineries, antique stores, seasonal farmers markets, live bluegrass music, and special events throughout the year. Downtown Ellijay is also just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy apple orchards, hiking, wineries, and all that North Georgia has to offer.

Peace of Mind
For your convenience and security, the cabin features a smart keypad deadbolt for easy, contactless check-in. Exterior security cameras monitor the front entrance and parking/patio areas only. There are no cameras inside the cabin or in any private outdoor spaces.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a couples' retreat, or a peaceful getaway with friends (including your four-legged companions), Antler Ridge Getaway offers the authentic mountain experience you've been looking for—comfortable, private, and surrounded by the natural beauty of North Georgia.

Cozy Cottage is exactly that – cozy! The cabin is well designed and well built, and offers three levels. While it has beds for 8, we think that might be a bit crowded. A maximum of 5 is probably ideal. Our favorite feature was the large screened-in porch with a dining table and a northwest view of the mountains. The cabin was spotless, and there was no pet odor. The beds, pillows, and linen were new and very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished, and having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a big plus. On the basement level, there is a pool table and a hot tub. All three large TVs are new, and there’s a DVD player in the living area. The free Wi-Fi is nice, and when it stopped working, we called the owner, who responded immediately with the fix. While there is a nice wood stove in the living area, and a gas stove in the basement, the central heat made the entire cabin warm on a cool April night without using them. The reason we rated the cabin as “Pleasing” rather than “Excellent,” was because of the hot tub. When we arrived, the hot tub was the same temperature as the outside – 60 degrees. We quickly learned that the heat came on only when the jets ran. It took us 36 hours of pushing the jets button whenever they stopped running for the hot tub to reach the maximum temperature of 99 degrees. Then, the hot tub was delightful. Overall, we recommend the Cozy Cabin, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The cabin was clean and exactly what you are looking for when booking a mountain cabin, the view is also beautiful! The only call out I have is that the road is very very bad, the host indicated it was washed out by heavy rain and they’re working to fix it, but currently I wouldn’t recommend booking if you don’t have 4WD or AWD. We were on the struggle bus in a Honda Odyssey and couldn’t make it up without spinning out and sitting on pins and needles the entire time.

The cabin is cute-ish, the views are pretty decent the peace and quiet is excellent. Just be forewarned, there are NO toiletries. Which was a bit annoying but there are plenty of options to purchase items in town, which is a short drive. The dishes were dirty so we had to wash them before we used them. The outdoor grill was disgusting and looked like it had never been cleaned. We had to clean it the best we could, before we used it. Not really much of a vacation when you have to clean BEFORE you can use anything. To top it all off, the bear proof trash bin was completely full before we ever added any trash to it. I’m not sure if this is typical for this particular VRBO but we won’t stay at this particular cabin ever again.

The cabin was a delightful getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of life. The kitchen had every utensil and pan needed to cook meals. All of the beds were clean and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and worked well. There was a surprising amount of litter outside around the cabin and in the surrounding woods and there were a few places that you can tell get over looked while cleaning. Overall, the cabin was wonderful and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again, given the opportunity. The back patio and side deck are definitely the gems of the cabin, featuring beautiful views and a comfortable atmosphere. We used the propane grill and the fire pit provided with zero issues. We were 10 minutes from the main shopping strip of downtown Blue Ridge and hust 3 minutes from the Bigfoot Musem. Thank you for having us!

View was great, bed was comfortable, and the road wasn’t as bad as other reviews might make it seem. To be fair, the weather had been dry and we were in a 4Runner, but it was much more than manageable. However, the cabin could use a lot of TLC. Less than half of the bulbs on the string lights outside were functional, the igniter on the gas grill was broken so the grill had to be ignited using a lighter (which resulted in some singed hairs on my hand), the wi-fi was pretty spotty and weak, and the downstairs toilet didn’t flush properly. There was also a dead mouse downstairs in the game room. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the cabin, so it’s not like our trip was ruined, but this location definitely didn’t add to our experience in any way.

Sarah was an excellent host. She was very accommodating and prompt with any questions or concerns that I had prior to, and during our stay. Her cabin was very clean and smelled of fresh wood. The hot tub was an added bonus, and something we were looking forward to. It was nice to enjoy that at the end of the day and also first thing in the morning while enjoying the outdoor view. It’s even more beautiful in person than in the photos. My family and I really enjoyed our time there. We haven’t been able to vacation as often as we’d like and this was the perfect fall setting to catch up and make lasting, heartfelt memories. Definitely don’t hesitate to book your stay here. It’s very peaceful and has plenty of space for up to 8 people.

Four adults and two dogs stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. Our stay was good but not quite what I was expecting from the reviews. The kitchen was very small with almost no counter space. The bedrooms upstairs were large, but hard to navigate with very slanted ceilings (including the bathroom, not good for someone my height). It was fairly clean, but my dog kept finding orange peels under the furniture and two used (very smelly) yogurt containers. Not great when there are rodents in the area. The main feedback is the listing is not very clear on the road access. The road is in terrible condition and there were many areas where the drive was almost straight up. We had two small SUVs (Rav4s) and barely made it to the cabin. It would be very difficult for a small car to make it. Luckily our plan was to mostly stay at the cabin, but if we had planned to go into town multiple times or get an Uber for a winery I would have been very disappointed. We did not use the hot tub.
