Cozy, comfortable and convenient We will return!
Cabin is full of charm and character. We spent Christmas there and enjoyed it immensely. Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood in Townsend. We would definitely go back again.
Really cool and unique property. Two rustic cabins merged together with a lot of nice modern amenities. Well stocked kitchen and a lot of nice amenities like coffee pods, local pumpkin butter and toiletries. Owner also came by at check in to blow off recently downed leaves and lives locally. Great location too - we live in Knoxville so more of a local getaway. Would definitely stay here again!
Loved our stay at Mountain Rose Cabin! It is in a beautiful location and stocked with everything you need for a quiet and cozy stay. From the moment we drove onto property and stepped inside the cabin was a wonderful experience. The smell of the wood burning fireplace instantly gives you that cabin feeling. The steam shower was definitely a pleasant surprise to have. The owners were very helpful and informative. Thanks so much for sharing your little peace of heaven with us! Will definitely book this property again!
Our stay couldn’t have been better! The cabin was perfect & lovely! I wanted something with character and history and this was the perfect place for both! It is finished so nicely while at the same time being as cozy as you could want. The logs are so solid and historic all while having heated tiles and a steam shower! Absolutely perfect! The owner was very responsive and so nice.
The cabin is beautiful, and very clean. There was a lot of work putting that place together, and it shows well. Great stay, and we will be back!
We enjoyed the very relaxing Mountain Rose Cabin. We hiked all day and then spend our evening cooking, relaxing and playing games with our kids. The porch swing was a delight, my family really enjoyed it! While swing we got an unexpected surprise in the evening and got to watch some fire flies float around. Thank you for sharing you beautiful home with us.
We will be going back
This cabin was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful. There was a road closure to the neighborhood and they helped us navigate the closure to get to the cabin.
Cabin was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were wonderful!
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed! We’d love to come back again for another visit. Thank you for opening up your home.
We loved our stay in this amazing cabin! Everything we needed was provided and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners were extremely helpful whenever we had a question about something, and the detailed check-in instructions were very helpful. We enjoyed staying on the 'quiet side' of the mountain this year. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips!
Place was comfortable and perfect for relaxing. Location was close to a lot of nearby attractions. Hosts were very attentive as well.
This property is perfect ! Perfect location, perfectly comfortable, perfectly peaceful, perfectly friendly hosts. ?
The cabin was so nice and had everything we needed. We loved the location because we had things to do in Gatlinburg and Knoxville. So...we were kind of in the middle of them. The community was quiet and quaint...tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Very nice place to stay!!
This cabin is amazing. The location was perfect for peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
We LOVED the cabin! It was very cozy and spacious! Our 2 year old loved how much room he had to run around in the cabin as well as outside on the deck and the property around the cabin! It is conveniently located to all the local attractions in the area. We also had great communication with the property owner as they were quick to answer emails and texts and were very helpful with our questions. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a spot to stay in Townsend, TN!
Perfect place to stay while visiting the area.
Remodeled old cabin situated on a wooded lot. Peaceful quiet rustic good blend of old and new.
We so enjoyed our time at this property! Clean, well-appointed, super easy check-in, excellent communication from the owner, a beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate all combined made for a wonderful experience. Would love to stay here again!
When I booked this place it mentioned we could use the community pool and golfing, but there’s no access to them due to no payment made by owners of cabin. (I spoke to someone at the center) The TV upstairs didn’t work properly, and the remote downstairs living space worked occasionally. Other than that very good place to stay at for a good vacation in the middle of no where.
There are simply not enough superlatives to describe this cabin. The romance of the history of the cabin combined with the modern details such as the well-equipped kitchen to sauna. We could not get over the attention to detail of the decorations...everything was just perfect. The property managers could not have been more available. Wonderful experience.
Would highly recommend this property. The cabin itself was so interesting and the decor brought so much to be desired. Although our trip was planned for only 2 of us to stay, Our 2 granddaughters and their families came by and stayed a night and our 12 yr. old grandson stayed the last 2 nights and the owner seemed find with that. I would give this an excellent rating for anyone to stay.
We loved this cabin just the perfect size for our family of six! The kids liked the little house on the prairie feel and I liked the easy drive way! Super close to Townsend! We will probably stay here again!
Great place for the family
A gem with historic coziness. A calm, serene view that is just as amazing outside as in. The steam shower was a big pleasant surprise that was much welcomed after a long hike! Our first time, but definitely not our last visit to the Mountain Rose Cabin. Looking forward to coming back again.
From booking to leaving, everything was great. Owners are wonderful and have this cabin set up perfectly for a relaxing getaway.
