Stayed Jul 22, 2025We had an amazing time here! The cabin is cute and very well appointed. Quiet, peaceful area. Good kitchen for cooking, grill, fire pit. The bed was comfortable. Very nice. Guests should be aware that swimming is a bit difficult in this location, and you maybe have to drive to one of the many nice local places to go swimming. Be sure to bring your own canoes and kayaks too! We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025Heron's nest is a great little place. We loved being right on the lake. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck by the water, book in hand. The bed was comfy and we loved the open kitchen, dining and living room area overlooking the lake through the large sliding glass doors. The 24/7 Vacasa service was super helpful. There was no water provided in the fridge as stated so be sure to bring your own. The nearby town of Ellsworth has some great shops, places to eat and two breweries with food. Fun time!!!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We enjoyed the quiet calm and listening to the Loons. It is not elegant or filled with lots of water toys.... if you are just looking for a place to be quiet and relax, listen to the wildlife, read a book and play games this is your spot. Remote and relaxing!
