Loved the secluded setup with access to all things cabin and camping. Well built, plenty of room, very good accommodations. Would suggest bringing a vehicle with a little torque, some of the hill climbs can be tricky.

Cabin was wonderful, clean and well appointed. Location is secluded yet close to hot springs. Property was excellent with access to water. Great for relaxing. There was one minor issue with the AC when we arrived, host was there within 15 minutes and took care of it. Great place to stay.

The cabin and location was great and very enjoyable. I wish the description had been short drive down to lake, not just down the hill. But it was a very enjoyable time and got to visit with family. Would be a great fall weekend getaway.

Perfect for a long weekend getaway for our family. Location was great, provided easy drive to activities but rural enough for some peace in the woods. Easy lake access with equipment provided for canoeing and swimming. Absolutely loved it!

Property was great, close to town but in a peaceful area. Lots of wildlife around. The lake with the kayaks and paddle boat was a great way to wind down every day. Cabin was very clean and enjoyed sitting on the covered back porch listening to the turkeys every day. Highly recommend!

Great quiet cozy place!

We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning. I would like to know the type of mattress on the bed. I have had 3 back surgeries and had some of my best sleep in a long time during our stay.

This was the perfect for our family! Went out exploring during the day and came back to use all the lake amenities in the late afternoon/evening. Capped off the day with a soak in the hot tub.

A furniture was comfortable. Enjoy the porch every morning with the outdoors. The hot tub was warm and easy to get into. They had a nice campfire area set aside at the end of the building.

We had a great stay, cabin is great and loved that we could stay all day and play or take a quick trip into town. We will be coming back!

We loved staying here for the week and our kids didn’t want to leave! The cabin and hot tub were very clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Our kids enjoyed making s’mores with the s’more stuff that the host provided for us and we enjoyed watching the sunrise right from our front porch each morning! We loved that we had access to walk down to the lake to fish, swim, and kayak! We didn’t know that there was another rental cabin right down the hill on the same property that also had access to the lake but we still really enjoyed our time here. Thank you again Mark and Lori for having us!

Mark and Lori made sure we had all fhe information about the place and the surrounding area that we need. Rhe cabin was perfect. Even though it rained during our stay. In was a nice getaway. ND We will definitely be back.

Mark and Lori were absolutely wonderful hosts. Their property is perfectly designed for a relaxing, activity-filled family vacation. We brought our son and niece, and there was never a dull moment — between the kayaks, paddle boards, hiking trails, volleyball, and farm animals, we were constantly having fun. We even kayaked all the way to Lake Catherine right from the property!The setting is gorgeous and peaceful — so much so that we took family photos right on-site because the backdrop was just too beautiful to pass up. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we could have needed (and more). I definitely overpacked — they provided charcoal, s’mores supplies, dishes, laundry detergent, and so many thoughtful extras that made our stay effortless.The location is ideal: it feels private and secluded, yet you’re only about 15 minutes from great restaurants and attractions, and around 45 minutes from Mount Ida, where we went crystal digging.The only note I’d mention is that the road from the cabin to the lake is steep, so next time we’ll bring an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle. That said, we managed fine in our minivan and didn’t mind the walk — the hosts even provide wagons for hauling gear.Between the hot tub, stargazing on the balcony, and the endless activities for kids, it truly felt like a mom’s dream getaway. The kids never once mentioned the lack of internet — they were too busy exploring and playing. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Great stay. Very private. Need a 4 wheel drive to really get around the property. Would stay again.

Cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Lots of time spent on the lake swimming and kayaking, though my calves are still complaining about the hill down. A nice convenient drive away from all that the Hot Springs offers yet secluded enough to take time to reconnect during our anniversary.

Check in was simple. Host responded to messages very quickly. The cabin was very clean. Only downfall is there is no wifi out there but its expected conaidering the location. Would stay there again.

The lake was a ways from the house. Had to drive to get to it. Road was too steep to walk down with children and back up. So steep was fearful of children falling or slipping and roll down to the bottom on rocks. Was disappointed with the description of the property. The picnic and swimming dock area was even further away. My grandkids used the spa because it was close and safer. Property manager came by very upset because the spa cover off and I did not respond to her email. I was on vacation, checking my emails was not a priority and was rude and sharp to my daughter. The cabin was nice and clean but not by the lake as described, also the harassment of the property manager spoiled our stay.

This property was secluded and had a private path that goes to a peaceful spot on the water. The amenities by the water were a great idea! It looks like they are building another cabin on the same road and id love to return again with the kids so they can enjoy it as well! Cant wait to go back and stay longer!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The cabin is adorable and extremely spacious- easily fitting our group of 7 with plenty of room left over. Beautifully decorated and the beds and bedding were soft and comfortable. The hot spring water in the fridge was such a thoughtful and welcome touch! The paddle boards and kayaks were a HUGE bonus and the highlight of the stay! As was the hot tub. The only downside was the walk to the lake. I should have more clearly read previous reviews about it so that’s on me- but it was an extremely steep hill down then a rough and tiring hike back up to the cabin which was especially rough with two younger children and my older mother. We ran into the hosts a couple times while playing outside and they were friendly and quick to check on if we were having fun or in need or any more firewood. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others (with a word of warning about the hill)! : )

Says it sleeps 10 and is portrayed as lakeside. It does not sleep 10 and is not lakeside. We also were promised a hideaway but supposedly had noise complaints from the neighbors across. Put all the dishes in dish washer stripped sheets off beds and put in front of washer a long with towels. Cleaned all the trash up and was still forced to pay a cleanliness fee.

Mark and Lori are awesome host, property was more than we expected, great fishing, and reflecting on the day around the campfire, relaxing in the hot tub with family will have lasting memories for us, would highly recommend Mark and Lori’s relaxing getaway cabins.I would recommend 4x4’s or atv for the trip to the kayak’s and dock, we were glad that I had brought my lifted 4x4.Would definitely stay again.Horton family

Was great at first but then we noticed roaches at this house. Did not want to bring these home with us so we asked for a refund and owner was nice enough to give us a refund for part of our stay.

The owners were quick to respond and very helpful! Our girls enjoyed the hot tube and the loft bed! Overall, it was a great place to stay!

My family had a great time at this cabin and the hosts were very responsive and helped with any inquiries or questions we had while we stayed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and made good use of the kayaks that are on property. The cabin itself was a pleasure to stay in and we enjoyed the amenities including the patio. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. As some others have mentioned, there is a little bit of a walk down to the water from the cabin and the incline is somewhat steep, but shouldn’t be a problem for an active family. I wouldn’t bring someone to this property who might have difficulty navigating such an incline. All in all this is a fantastic property with so much to offer, including being in very close proximity to Hot Springs itself and other attractions, and I would highly recommend it if you’re thinking of visiting Hot Springs.

This property is amazing. Plenty of woodland area to walk through, a comfy cabin to hang out in, and a warm fire outside to roast marshmallows. A great time!

Was so pleasantly surprised with the minor details such as condiments in fridge, cookware, smores welcome basket and even regular sized shampoo and conditioner bottles! The kayaking was amazing, we saw 2 small gators. The hot tub under the stars is a moment we wont forget. The firewood was waiting for us and it was just perfect. The only thing that would have made it better would have been the ability to bring our dogs but it was a much needed get away for my little family. Highly highly recommend!

Needs tv in bedrooms .. but beautiful place

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was very cozy and super comfortable for our family of 6. We used the kayaks several times, the scenery was beautiful! We loved the covered back porch and hot tub. Beds were comfortable too! Historic down town was a short drive away, so was horseback riding and the mid-America museum was great!

Perfectly quiet and relaxing weekend! Cabin was easy to get to, and had everything we needed. The water was not easy to get to, and you a 4x4 is a must! Would still stay at the property again.

The listing could be more forthcoming with the fact there is no water view or frontage at the cabin. It's on a gravel road. The fireplace is not a true masonry fireplace. The gravel drive down to the lake is VERY steep. All wheel drive is recommended. Some would not be able to walk it. We had a hot water (hot and cold reversed) and bug issue in shower bathroom. There is another bath thankfully. That being said.....The cabin is delightful and once you get down to the water, it's very peaceful and the water toys available were in great shape. We enjoyed our time on the water and Hot Springs is about a 10 - 15 minute drive. Arkansas is a beautiful state. 3 days is enough to enjoy this area. I really wanted something on the water. Listing is misleading. Please make it more clear. Host Lori was great. I'd go again. Great place to take a family.

The property was clean. Impressed with the small house. Not near the water. We were disappointed that there was no dock or place to fish. Glad we were in the 4-wheel drive.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay! The cabin and property were perfect and had everything we needed! We canceled some of the plans we had so we could stay and enjoy the property. We fished, walked trails, paddle boated and kayaked. The cabin was extremely clean and cozy! We are already planning our next trip back! :)

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! We had plenty of room for the 5 of us.. the hot tub was very nice and roomy..the kids favorite was the lake and lake toys.. we all had a blast playing in the water! The privacy of this cabin was an added bonus, so peaceful and quiet!! 💜💛
