Cozy home near river with hot tub, outdoor fireplace, firepit, secluded location

The property was fantastic--was exactly what we were looking for in a cabin. It was extremely clean, spacious, cozy and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The 270-degree deck was fantastic--one side had a small 2-seater table and chairs, another side had the wood-burning fireplace and plenty of seating as well as a picnic table with 2 benches, and the third side had 2 rocking chairs. We spent quite a bit of time outside by the outdoor fireplace, which was large and provided a lot of the warmth and cozy factor we were looking for in that weather. Livingroom was big and loved the gas fireplace. Cozy sofa and chairs. The 2 bedrooms were awesome--beds were comfy and cozy, bedding was cozy and clean, and there were 2 bedside lamps. The 2 bathrooms were convenient. We had 3 adults in our party and it was nice to have multiple bathrooms to avoid a logjam. They provided plenty of towels, toilet paper, and soap. The kitchen was great--very spacious and there was also a convenient kitchen island that provided us with more space for meal prep. The kitchen was a full-sized kitchen and came with every kind of amenity and accessory you could think of: coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, colanders, etc. The kitchen even came with dishwasher detergent and dishwashing liquid, as well as a new clean sponge. Watch out for the roads: they are primitive (not paved) and when it's muddy, it can be tricky in a car with only 2-wheel drive. Would stay here again, hands down.

We had the best time and had a great stay at Jack Bear's cabin!! This cabin is so cute and quaint and exactly what my little family of 4 needed for our stay in Blue Ridge!! The cabin is so clean and looks just as pictured! We didn't realize though how far back in the woods the cabin was, and how the road leading to it would be. Just be prepared to go through a tiny gravel mountain road with lots of hills, twist and turns. And while this cabin is great and perfect, you have to allow at least 20-30 minutes from it to get anywhere in Blue Ridge or to do any of the activities around the area. Everything is just so spread out!! We did try to find the trail that is talked about in the listing to get to the river for our kids to play but it was not clearly marked at all and so we didn't get to play much around our cabin like we thought we would. They need to clearly mark a trail to hike to get to the river because it isn't far at all from the cabin it's just not a great walk if you try and find it. We would definitely stay here again but also wouldn't mind staying somewhere closer to town and more on the river for kids to play!!

The cabin was great! We came up for a weekend getaway without the kids. The back porch fireplace and hot tub were are favorite parts of the cabin. The community has a trail to hike to see the river. It has enough privacy, but is still close to town.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! The cabin was clean as well as well-equipped with kitchen supplies and games. We loved how cozy everything was. The location is secluded and lets the stars shine bright at night. We saw many deer families each day. We had to call for maintenance on an issues for refrigerator and the turnaround for the repair was swift. We had constant communication and fast responses. This trip was perfect. I only wish our trip was longer. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place. We will be back very soon!

Tiny bedrooms, but comfy beds and comfortable living space with plenty of seating, well stocked and functional kitchen. Nice location in the woods with jacuzzi for four, walking distance from the river, and lovely outdoor covered porch and fireplace, perfect for roasting marshmallows, neighbors not too close. Easy to find and access and conveniently positioned 30 minutes from cute town of Blue Ridge. Nice attention to details!

We enjoyed the peacefulness it offered. Had all the features you need. It is a great location to venture out from not to far to Tellico Plains and Cherahoula skyway. Not to far from Helen, GA.

This was our second time here and it’s just a great place to escape and get away.

We enjoyed this cabin so much last year that we booked it again for a trip this year. The cabin is nice and cozy and has such nice decor. The cabin is modern with great WiFi, smart TVs, and has nice furniture and appliances. It is in a quiet wooded and gated area. It is in a more remote location- which we enjoyed -but there are still things to do within a half hours drive. Our favorite amenity was the outside covered deck with the fireplace, wicker furniture, picnic table, hot tub, hammock and rocking chairs. We spent a lot of our time there. A great little get away.

This cabin was everything we were looking for and more for our little weekend getaway. It had everything we needed, all we had to pack were clothes and snacks! We will be back!

I loved the peacefulness and coziness felt on this stay. Everything was well stocked and organized. Beds were comfortable, kids loved the hot tub, adults loved the outdoor wrap around patio for morning coffee and evening cocktails. I would definitely stay here again!
