Cozy Hocking Hills Cabin on 20 private acres! Only 7 miles from State Park!

The cabin was a great spot for all of the surrounding Hocking Hills related hikes. Also wonderful dining at 58 West, just a 15 minute drive.

I stayed at this property for a weekend. It was quiet and the perfect size for two people. The bed in the loft was so cozy. The cabin was clean. The shower was perfect. The owners were very accommodating and were fantastic. Will be back.

We originally booked the one room cabin. On our way out the owner called and said there was an issue with the sewer in that cabin. They were working on it but they may not be done by the time we get there. So he upgraded us to the treehouse cabin at no extra charge. When we got there the workers were finishing up. The owner called and said we can still stay in the treehouse cabin. It was absolutely beautiful! So clean and Tyler the owner could not have been anymore helpful and wonderful. The cabin was centrally located. Would definitely stay there again

Beautiful location, cozy and quiet.

I liked how writer and quant the area was. It was very close to hocking hills. I loved the games that were on site and the bathroom was clean and cute.

This is a beautifully maintained cabin. The decorating is gorgeous. The attention to detail is amazing. It is so private and lovely. The owner promptly answers any questions you have. The bathroom/ shower is fantastic. The towels smell like cherry and almond. You will LOVE it!!!

This was a great cozy, quiet weekend stay. The cabin is small but in a very peaceful and secluded location only about a 15 min drive from either Logan or the main cave areas of the state park. The owner have furnished the place well and it was very clean.The loft bed area can be a bit of a challenge but we knew that coming in and it was part of the charm. Thank you!

This location was truly in the heart of all the 7 Hocking Hills trails we walked for our full 3 day visit (plus Walmart for groceries). Both the inside and outside of the cabin was cozy and beautiful. Vanessa was extremely responsive to my messages. Even though there is another cabin on the property; the locations are very much secluded from one another. I stayed with my two teenagers and we had plenty of room and slept comfortably. We highly recommend this cabin!

The house was absolutely adorable and very clean close drive to the trails.

ALthough cut short due to winter weather, our short stay here was amazing!! the location is perfect, secluded but not too far from things. The small home had everything we needed

Very nice cabin and quiet

Communication with the host was easy. The cabin was clean and easy to find. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit after a long day of hiking. The wifi didn't work but we didn't care because the whole point was to disconnect from all that stuff.

I had a lovely stay at the Jay Bear Retreat's cozy cabin for my solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was immaculately cleaned, and it had everything I needed for meals, showers, and a comfortable sleep after a day of hiking. The location is good for getting to all the Hocking Hills highlights. Overall, a great place to stay that I would happily return to for my next Hocking Hills trip.

Beatiful quiet location. Everything was clean and well maintained.

The cabin was extremely clean and had everything that we could need for a weekend getaway. The host was very accommodating. It was in a great location and was very peaceful. We even got to see a couple of deer up close! Highly recommend staying here for a quiet peaceful getaway.

The cabin was well clean and very put together. It wasn’t too far from any of the hiking trails or shops. Would definitely stay there again we had a wonderful time!!

Our weekend didn’t totally go as planned with a wide spread power outage covering most of hocking hills. Our hosts were able to get in contact with us and bring lanterns out along with a partial refund to make up for the no power. It kicked back on in the morning and we got to experience the rest of what the cabin had to offer. We had a wonderful time! Even without power, the campfire, grill and board games came in handy along with the peaceful scenery. Overall I would definitely recommend.

The cabin was absolute perfection. Extremely clean, the hosts communicated very promptly and helped with any of our questions. The fire pit is wonderful and we got engaged right there under the stars! We will definitely be back in the future!

This was the perfect cabin for a weekend get away. Everything in the description is accurate and the cabin was very clean and well maintained. The front porch was a peaceful place to start and and each day!

Wonderful little cabin in a great location! Very clean with comfy furniture and nice features like porch seating and great fire pit. It is on a road less traveled so very quiet and peaceful, yet minutes to Logan, hiking areas and a cute coffee shop. Some might find the loft ladder access daunting but I’m 70 and managed just fine!
