Cozy ‘Haven of Rest’ Home w/ Amish Country Views!

We enjoyed our Sister’s Trip! We loved sitting out in the evening enjoying the natural sounds of the farm. The owners are just a text away if you need nothing. I would recommend staying here if in Shipshewana.

This place was adorable. Very clean and welcoming. Loved sitting out by the fire pit.We fed the fish in the evening and Shipshewana has a lot to offer.

The home is beautiful and the property is lovely. It is relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The host came over and was very kind, to turn on AC. We only had one complaint, We paid very high cleaning and damage protection fees. We found a previous guest dirty socks, on the shelf with blanket, cobwebs around the floor, and the counter top was sticky, obviously not wiped down. On top of that, we were required, to strip beds, pile up towels, wash dishes we used, take out trash. We all felt this was excessive fees, when we cleaned up after ourselves. Like I said it was a gorgeous property, just fees were not reasonable.

Had a wonderful stay in Amish country. The property was amazing, a very relaxing trip. Our hosts were very accommodating. Can’t wait to visit again.

This is a very relaxing setting with fire pit - pond - horses next door ! The cabin was beautiful updated - away from the hustle and bustle of town but yet easily accessible in minutiae downtown ! I definitely would recommend this for a girls getaway or a couple retreat ! Our Jackie was so friendly and enjoyable to sit and chat with !

The location was great in convenience as well as beautiful surroundings. Really enjoyed the getaway with the family. The host was super friendly and helpful.

This charming retreat is tucked away from the street, offering picturesque views of horses and the beautiful Amish farmland. The addition of a wood-burning stove adds a cozy touch to this delightful space. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and the beds provide a restful night's sleep. The spacious living room is perfect for unwinding and sharing stories about your day. The location is fantastic, and communication with Jackie was excellent. I will definitely be returning.

It was a great place to take the kids for a vacation. Very relaxing!

Everything was just as presented. Great location and cabin was wonderful. Great location to relax and enjoy the area. Definitely a great place to stay.

We had an amazing time. This was one of the best places that we stayed. We started feeling relaxed as soon as we pulled into the driveway. Very calm and inviting environment. Owners were amazing. We enjoyed bonfires every night, feeding the fish and gigantic turtle, seeing and listening to wildlife. The house and property are beautiful. We will be coming back again.

Perfect for our girls getaway. Peaceful. Beautiful location. Lovely setting. Cabin had everything we needed. Loved using the firepit for relaxing evenings and smores! Property Manager was wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

The property is beautifully maintained besides being close to town. Loved being surrounded by nature! (Be wary if you have allergies to horses which are on adjacent property. )

We will definitely stay here again if in the area!
