Very nice and clean cabin perfect for a weekend retreat.
Enjoyed the overall experience of being in a cozy cabin in the woods. Morden inside rustic outside. Had a couple of issues but were addressed immediately. The property manager very nice and easy to work with.
Modern Cabin in the woods at the end of a long path. Super quiet. Super clean. Perfect getaway. Spend the night in front of the firepit looking at the stars. So relaxing. No TV, has wifi, but not fast. Charcoal grill for grilling. Just come prepared with provisions because its a drive to town and poor cell signal when driving the country roads. Awesome.
This cabin is nestled in a harmonious cozy part of the woods. My teen daughter and I enjoyed relaxing and unwinding, waking up to the stillness and peacefulness is something we should all get to enjoy. The cabin was clean, orderly, and very eco-friendly. The cabin is about a 10 to 15 minute drive to Kroger, gas stations, and several great restaurants. We enjoyed the scenic drive to the Virginia Safari and the Natural Bridge which was about 50 minutes away, but worth every minute of the drive. There is no TV, so plan on spending time outdoors, reading, relaxing, and just away from all the media madness. We can't wait to take another trip and utilize this cabin! The beds were very firm, but that's just a personal preference in what you like to sleep on. Overall, this place is fabulous and the contact (Steve) was a great help and very neighborly.
We had a couple hiccups during the check-in but the property manager and owner swiftly resolved them, nothing major though. The property is beautiful, the cabin is magnificent. It inviting, warm and completely upgraded but not complicated. It’s truly tucked away in the mountains. Sitting on the porch surrounded by the changing leaves during the day and gazing at the starry at night we’re magical. We even saw a few shooting stars. This is a wonderful, much needed way to disconnect from your busy life. We will be back.
