Cozy Family-Friendly Forested Cabin Inside Alpine Lake Resort

Great cabin

Cabin was nicely situated on a quiet street. Due to the November stay many outdoor activities were unavailable. Also not many options for dining out unless you want to travel 30 mins to Maryland. Cabin cleanliness was ok. Host responded quickly to a few concerns during our stay.

This cabin is absolutely amazing. A beautiful getaway in the woods. It was the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in when renting on Vrbo. We will definitely be back!

Great place will rent again! How far in advance can we book this property?

Home was wonderfully clean. Communication was great! Lock wasn’t set to our listed code—sent message to owner and it was open in less than a minute! No issues at all. Only thing I’ll notate that I missed before booking…bedrooms are upstairs. There is a rail next to the wall but it is open on other side. Downstairs bathroom was perfect to have so our mom and aunt didn’t have to go upstairs each time. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again if we return to the area! Location was absolutely amazing. The kids enjoyed the lake thoroughly as well as the fishing and indoor pool! Go prepared to see lots of deer near the golf course right before dusk!

Lovely little cabin. Perfect for a few days of peace and quiet

On the positive side of our stay…the owner was very nice and answered all emails as quickly as possible. Also, the cabin was beautiful and clean, if not a bit smaller than the photos made it seem. The view was beautiful and the grounds breathtaking. Overall we had a great stay with just a few glitches. Unfortunately, a fair amount of the information the owner gave us was inaccurate. He told us to p/u the “keys” at the security gate. Security got quite annoyed with us for persisting. Eventually we called VRBO and were told how to get in. There are no “keys” to the cabin. I would think VRBO should have emailed us with entry info. Further, the owner believed there to be “passes” (plural) to the pool, which he said were on top of the fridge in an envelope. No “passes.” We did find a single swipe card, and we tried it and it worked. There was only one there. Also, the front storm door screen was ripped halfway out. Understandably, with the unit being in the woods, anything could have caused it. That did not enter into our rating. Also a statue on the porch was broken.In spite of the aforementioned we truly had a wonderful time. And would likely return and/or recommend to a friend or family member.

Property and location is amazing it was big enough for our family of 4 and had plenty more space. We did have to clean the fridge before we could use as it was not clean, same with the dishes. The Lake is amazing and the whole resort was really quiet and family oriented.

This is an amazing house! Great neighborhood, cool things to do around the corner. Also has a pool for kids or teens or even adults that wanna take a soak! You won’t be upset with booking this home for the weekend or the week!

Cabin was awesome !!

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful setting. The weather was cold and rainy; but, still had a nice getaway. The pool was large and uncrowded. The cabin had everything we needed. Enjoy!

This house was the perfect getaway for us. It's very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are newly remodled and very nice. The beds are comfortable and the host has provided some thoughtful extras. The lake is beautiful, and the resort is very peaceful. We'll be back!

Perfect getaway for our annual fall trip. We appreciated the large kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. The house is well cared for and up to date. We would definitely come back! Note: the stairs are a little steep with no railing on the open side. If you have balance issues or small children, extra caution is needed.

Cabin was in a great central location. Check in was easy and cabin was well kept.

This cabin was wonderfully clean upon our arrival. The window AC units worked great, the ceiling fans were great, the large wrap around deck, furniture, and grill were all great. The beds were all very comfortable, shower water pressure was good. We found everything needed in the kitchen to prepare most of our meals in. Shop n Save was about 15 minutes away, and most restaurants are 20-25 minutes away. The pool in the lodge was massive, clean, and never busy. The gym had everything 2 teenage boys could need. Walking trails around the resort were nice, but the LAKE was pristine! We kayaked and swam. Neck deep water and i could still see my feet! Jumping off the dock was fun.
