The rental experience exceeded expectations. The home is comfortable and roomy and ultra clean. Enjoyed being able to control the heat to align to our needs. 100% count on us to rent this home again. Great location in Sunriver with easy access to Bend, OR. The local coffee shop, Brewed Awakenings, is amazing and in easy walking distance. The coffee is beyond delicious and the baked goods are heavenly - strongly recommend the almond poppyseed muffins and the chocolate hazelnut scones. Yum!
The property was perfect for our family.
This is a good little house. It had everything we needed, and it was reasonably clean. Like most rental houses in Sunriver, it could use some updates, (and some new bedding), but the ground floor bathroom/laundry room was new and nice. The only issue I’d like the Vacasa team to address is there is a strong smell of dog pee coming from the carpet next to the bed in the ground floor bedroom. Not the most pleasant thing to fall asleep to! Hopefully they will deep clean the carpet after seeing this comment. Other than that, our family would be happy to stay here again.
The overall place was good but for the price could have been cleaner, safer and more updated. Extension cords as trip hazards, and wiring were sloppy and not up to expectations of the surrounding property. Bath was updated but poorly done and water would go everywhere, again another safety hazard. Bed was comfy, but kitchen outdated. Pollen everywhere!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this Sunriver house. Efficient kitchen, comfy furnishings & great hot tub. Hope to come back.
This admittedly is a tough one to review. This is a cute house, we enjoyed our stay, and house was comfortable for our family of 4 and our dog. Was clean, lots of parking, nice flooring downstairs, we enjoyed the big table in the eating area as well as the comfortable living room, and nice having bedrooms for everyone. Downstairs bedroom is a bit dark but the ones upstairs were great. Location was also great as very quick to get to Sunriver Village. Even walked it in the snow. With that being said, however, honestly don't know if it would be our first choice to go back to, but we would go back to it if couldn't find another place or if it was just the two of us. Primarily feel this way because the kitchen is so tiny and in need of some upkeep. It's really only made for one person to be in there at a time. We managed 2 a couple of times but it was tricky and made for a bit of a challenge in trying to cook meals for the entire family. We found that we ate our dinners out more than we were planning to as just was too difficult to manage cooking a big meal in the kitchen, let alone trying to clean it afterwards. Kitchen could use some new silverware (a lot of pieces were broken), could use another pot and a small frying pan, the cabinets are very old and don't always close, and the stove vents right up into the upper cabinet (not into a vent to take it outside) so it just pushes the steam right back into the kitchen. Thank goodness we could open the window to help push the steam out. We also had a couple of issues that Vacasa was great in responding to quickly but unfortunately couldn't completely solve while we were there but they did come up with alternatives for us - 1) the door would never accept any codes (just the worst door lock we've ever encountered) so had to rely on the 1 spare key that was in the lock box the entire time and 2) the hot tub had a padlock but it was rusted so the key wouldn't work to open it. Vacasa helped us out with a way around it for the time we were there. Also, we are pretty positive the hot tub got installed backwards into the deck! We have a hot tub and typically the controls and main step into the hot tub are always at the front, where people step into the tub. But instead these were at the back next to the fence (so step was unusable) and also meant that you can't get to the controls until you are actually in the hot tub. Very weird. But overall, we enjoyed our stay here.
We had a wonderful stay at 3 Hare Lane! It was very comfortable for us and our dogs. We enjoyed the large deck and the hot tub. All the bedrooms were spacious. Also liked that it is walking distance to the store and restaurants. We had a couple issues while we were there and texted Vacasa about them. The staff was very responsive and friendly! Both issues were taken care of within a few hours. That was so appreciated!! Comment: 4 adult bikes would be nice to have there. Overall had a Great experience!! Thank you,
Our family's 10th trip to SR and first time renting in this neighborhood. We loved being so close to everything (Village, SHARC) yet still felt quiet and off beaten paths. House was perfect size for our family of four (five, including dog). Kitchen is small but worked for us. Only minor complaint is downstairs bedroom is directly under kids room upstairs and any noise, even normal speaking voices, can be heard clearly. Overall, however, we loved this home and will definitely be back.
We stayed here for a CrossFit competition. This was a GREAT little house. Perfect for our stay. Clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean hot tub. We would absolutely stay again.
I loved staying in this house. It was cozy, clean and quiet.
