Very close to town and lake access plus pet friendly. Big front porch and the fire pit was lovely for outside fires. My child and dog loved exploring the creek and I enjoyed quiet morning coffees on the porch. A fan in every room. Has blu-Ray and Roku.

It was another great stay! This was our second time staying here, and just as great as the first! Was a little bummed the propane wasn’t filled in the BBQ and there wasn’t much for fire wood. Other than that, I’d was perfect!

Every single dish was already dirty upon arrival, the floor was very dirty and felt nasty even being in socks.

Cozy and nicely upgraded. Had a bit of a challenge getting in as the lock box was different than any I'd seen. Once we figured that out, the trip was smooth sailing. Nice beds and furniture and nice little kitchen. We were only there for two days but would have been comfy staying much longer. The property is in a great spot, away from the hustle and bustle but only 15 minutes to Cascade or up the road to Tamarack. Leave the window cracked at night so you can listen to the stream right outside.

This is on a main street and ATVs and large trucks go by alot and are very loud and noisy. The house is closer to the street than the picture shows. On the stairs my friend got a splinter from the rail because they are dry and weathered, The deck floors are very dirty and gross. There was a rug hanging off a rail on the side just deteriorating.Cushions on the porch weren't there, so sitting outside was not comfortable on the metal chairs. The Bbq was gross, hadn't been realky cleaned in a long while, and didn't look safe to even use. The bottom is burned out and parts of it on the rail. It's not the newer looking one in the picture on the site. The vacuum in the bedroom was full of dirt.. sitting in the corner.. that all came off the floor.. gross, in fact we spill a little water in kitchen and the floor when we wiped it up with the paper towel it was dirty. The smell when you walk into the house is strong, and in the bathroom is a really strong smell where you can't be in there very long. The sponge on the kitchen sink was old and gross and they washed the dishes with that. There is no place to put personal stuff in the bathroom to shower or hang towels. The shower is small and water leaks out even when you shut the curtain. It was not that comfortable overall, except, the beds were comfy. And the river sound was nice. The place just needs some work. I sent a message to Dee Dee the owner, if these issues and got no reponse on the matter.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The kitchen is well set up, comfortable furniture in the living room and comfy beds. We weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit, too much icy snow, but it’s near the creek which we could hear from the front deck.

Bring your own fire materials, including axe. Stairs had thick ice that we cleared off. Just be prepared during the winter. Cozy. Perfect for a couple. TV did not get reception or Internet. It really is perfect for quiet time.

First time renting a cabin. Nice weekend getaway, great beds very comfortable. Wood burning stove puts off great heat. Fire pit while snowing and the stream makes for a great evening outside.

The VRBO details were excellent and accurate. The cottage was well-stocked and completely ready for my stay. It was very cold outside, but the overall heater worked great + there were excellent room heaters in both bedrooms and the bathroom. Good communication with host. More than adequate checkin checkout instructions and use of internet. Another positive VRBO experience!

Because my husband and I are not strong in the area of technology, we were a little stressed with having no contact from the host prior to our arrival. We came from Pennsylvania and was thankful everything worked out. We were disappointed that the location was so busy with local traffic (not related to the fire situation in the area).
