Cozy Couples Cabin! Hidden in the Woods of Hocking Hills!

We loved our time at the Cozy Couples Cabin! Outstanding in every way. We've stayed in many cabins over the years and this is now our favorite. Remarkably clean, comfortable, and what a fabulous location! Chelsey's communication is excellent. We will certainly book this cabin again!

This truly is a couples retreat. It’s the perfect atmosphere to unwind with your other half. The cabins has a very modern updated vibe but still gets that “cozy cabin in the woods” feel. We had a great experience and both agreed that we have to come back to this one specifically and longer only piece of advice I would give to someone is before you get to close to the cabin, get your check in instructions. Depending on who your carrier is, you may have very little service. I had to regain service so that I could get the check in instructions. I should have thought of that, but since I didn’t, wanted to share with folks in the future. AT&T and Spectrum phone carriers for reference.

Remote, beautiful, quiet, and peaceful is the best way to describe this place! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary weekend with snow hiking and soaking in the hot tub! Had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay in the most beautiful part of the great state of Ohio!

This was a great cozy wintery hideaway!

Check in process almost halted us. No cell signal outside cabin to retrieve message from host to get door code. Cover on hot tub was broke on one side. Cabin was very nice but needs some repairs on locks and switch panels. Other than those things our stay was decent.

The property was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The property was secluded, well designed, and exactly what we were looking for. The owners of the property were very fast in responding to us regarding a request and we would definitely recommend this cabin stay to anyone!

Extremely peaceful location. It was easy to find and we enjoyed the secluded area. The cabin was clean, well stocked and cozy with a Christmas tree.

The hot tub was not getting as hot as it could.

This cabin was perfect for our anniversary getaway! Very clean, great location, and the hot tub was wonderful! The cabin is secluded, but close enough to everything we wanted to do. The host is top notch! We will rent this cabin again.

We loved how nice this cabin was ! Very clean and loved the hot tub ! It was such a great place to get away for our anniversary and relax with peace and quiet away from it all !! This cabin had the privacy and seclusion we were looking for but was not too far of a drive to go to places to eat or hike ! Will definately be returning ! The communication with host was great too !

The driveway was a little steep but we got up it in our small car just fine. It's private and secluded. The owners did a great job of staying in touch even though they were on vacation also and several time zones away. It's a great couples get away!

This get-away is in a secluded location and very relaxing. The home inside is lovely and we appreciate the cleanliness.The cell service is spotty but if you use WiFi connectivity, pit works. Just a head’s up if you have work you need to do.I highly recommend this place for an ideal get-a-way for two!

Beautiful and peaceful property. Exactly as described!

We were so disappointed in our stay. Stepping onto the untended porch and opening the creaking, ripped screen door we were ready to turn away. Immediately after opening the entrance door an overwhelming musty smell hit us in the face...we wish we would have turned away. We are confused how this property is getting such good reviews? The property needs major tending inside and out!! The musty smell is major, leaky faucet, poorly draining sinks, chipped shower enclosure, moldy shower door, stains on carpet and sheets, chipped dishes, broken hot tub, rigged backed door, cabinet doors and drawers sticking, light switch plates taped and wires exposed ... and the host didn't seem too concerned why we were leaving our two night stay after 17 hours on the property? We travel a lot!!! This will go down as one of our worst travel experiences especially for the expense of this stay. Unfortunately the musty smell came home with us by way of terrible headaches and musty smelling clothes and blankets. We hated to write this negative review but felt it necessary for those looking for a positive and wecoming stay. I wish I had photos but seriously did not want a reminder of this trip.

Everything we needed for a quiet little get a way for a night. The seclusion was the best part. Cabin was adorable. Would stay again.

I gifted this to my son and daughter in law. They loved the cabin said it was beautiful and so cozy. They loved the hot tub. They went hiking, horseback riding and rented a side by side. They had so much fun.

Place was very nice and clean. Cozy. We really enjoyed staying there. Very relaxing. We felt like we stayed in a treehouse.

The communication was top notch. Enjoyed our trip.

Never turned on the the TV. Between the back deck, hot tub and fire pit, we used it all and enjoyed our Wedding Anniversary.

Perfect place for a short getaway with my wife. Great place. The drive way was a bit steep but the host communcatied that fairly so we were well prepared with our vehicle.

The cabin overall was very clean, neat, and cozy. The only minor inconvenience was the water pressure from the fossets/shower. That’s expected from a well though.

We loved our short stay at this cabin. It was super cozy and perfect for a couple. Just a 15 minute drive to the park, we got our fill of hiking and then back to the cabin to recover in the hot tub.Listing is accurate, 4WD/AWD is definitely recommended for a steep gravel driveway.

Wonderful property and experience. This cabin and property are as advertised. Very clean. Beautiful inside and out. Nicely equipped. Great location. Very attentive property owner / host. They were very easy to work with and highly accommodating and helpful regarding any questions and/or needs we had. Highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Really lovely cabin stay in the woods. We loved staying here and would recommend it. The television wasn’t working however the hosts were communicative and we would stay here again with or without the TV.

This cabin is a perfect place to stay if you plan to spend a few days in Hocking Hills and want a lovely retreat from life. It is spacious and comfortable with nice extras like a hot tub, half bath in the loft bedroom, fireplace, beautiful views and extremely clean and well-furnished kitchen. We forgot that it was pet friendly as we never spotted even one pet hair in the entire cabin. Highly recommend this lovely getaway tucked away in the woods.

It was our anniversary week. The cabin was perfect for us! Off the beaten path, secluded, safe and cozy! Loved the back deck with the jacuzzi. Just what we needed to get away from the everyday grind! Thanks!

Loved our stay!

We gifted our parents a stay for two nights. They said it was very clean and had all the necessities for two nights. It was private and the land was wonderful. Would definitely gift them a stay at this property again!

Perfect quiet retreat

My wife and I loved the place. Great set up, clean and cozy. Highly recommend.

Great location. Easy check in. Cabin is pretty. The only fly in the ointment was when we asked for fresh sheets. The host asked why and said they don’t offer a change of sheets. I noted the sheets were musty and smelled like someone’s body odor. The host noted she had never received such a complaint. Later she said she couldn’t get us a change of sheets because of the holiday and the cleaners were not available. I did think that was plausible. However at the end of the stay the host asked for a 5 star review. Overall, the stay was OK, but disappointing service

This cabin was cozy and secluded a very nice and romantic experience for my girlfriend and I. Property manager was very friendly infortmative as nd welcoming. Would definitely love to visit and stay again soon.

Excellent stay

It was everything we needed and I loved the privacy. If we needed anything they were able to respond back timely and efficiently. Location is great also! Will stay again!

Beautiful rustic cabin but with all the amenities you could want! We felt like we were living in a tree house! Absolutely no traffic noise, just birds, and the musical sound of rain on the roof! Perfect after hiking the crowded trails, to come back to peace and quiet. Wifi if you need it for movies; puzzles and books if you don't. Extremely clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, everything in working order, excellent communication with the owners. AC worked great during very humid weather. The driveway is steep as described, but no problem for our SUV (and go slow.) Centrally located to the Hocking Hills hiking sites, and short drives to Logan or Lancaster if you need some city food. This will now be remembered as one of our favorite-of-all-time stays!
