Cozy Clayton Cabin w/ Deck & Mountain Views!

This cabin was amazing! We love hiking in the area and this was our first time at this cabin, but it will not be our last. It is very cozy and had so many nice extras. The power actually went out while we were here and the generator kicked on right away and we barely noticed. It was a bit too cold to enjoy the great deck, but we were super comfortable inside. Can't recommend this spot enough.

Each year we take a trip after the holidays to rest and recover from busy weeks. This cabin has to be the best ever! Wonderful view. Great accommodations!! Highly recommend!!

The house was great. Nice location near Clayton. Very clean and comfortable. The one thing that was disappointing was having to take the trash off site ourselves. As much as we pay for cleaning and services, it would seem the housekeepers could take care of the trash. The instructions asked tenants to take the trash to the recycle center. Checkout time was 10:00 and the recycle center didn’t open till 12:00. We left on our way to our son’s home in Raleigh, a 5 1/2 hr drive with our garbage.

Wonderful cabin! Everything was as listed and the cabin itself was one of the nicest we have rented. Perfect secluded location but close to everything in Clayton. Well-stocked and has everything you need. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

We could not figure out how to turn the heat on. The instructions were not clear or did not have heat. There was a musty smell and we found mold. We couldn't get internet on the tv.

So peaceful and relaxing! The cabin is as beautiful in person as it was in the picture. We loved our time there.

This cabin is awesome! We really enjoyed our stay. The location is close to downtown Clayton and easily accessible. The cabin had everything we needed. Our host was so sweet and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

This property is really nice. Very thoughtful. Bathrooms and kitchen is very good and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

Cabin is very comfortable and well furnished. It is in a beautiful location and very convenient to local amenities. However, more effort needs to be made to have cabin ready for guests when they arrive. In our case, the propane tank for the grill was empty, and the grill was filthy. The freezer compartment in the refrigerator was also filthy. The major issue is that there are no window coverings in the main living area. As a result, there is no privacy in that main area. Anyone who walks up on the back walk or porch can see in. That happened during our stay.

This home is wonderful. The description is on point. The house is stocked with most everything you'd need and what you forgot. The beds are comfortable. We loved everything about the house. Downtown is so close by car and foot if you wanted to walk. You feel like you're in a treehouse on the porch which is really nice. We loved it and definitely will return.

This is a wonderful place. The driveway is steep but two wheel drive SUV climbed it.

We stayed for a week in this beautiful cabin. We mostly toured the area but when we were home, we lived on the porch. Loved the fire pit and the woodburner inside. Lost of great amenities and tons of room. Theres plenty to do in the area. We especially enjoyed the Foxfire museum. The ONLY thing missing was a recliner room.

The house is exactly as described! It was very clean. The location is great and secluded. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the deck with rocking chairs and a swing! We will stay there again!

Our stay was great. The house was very clean and well appointed. We loved the secluded quite peace surroundings. The backporch was delightful. We would definitely stay again. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Beds were uncomfortable. Back deck is to narrow to safely walk on. No window coverings except in bedrooms.
