This was a charming property with a lot of extra things, including hot cocoa for my son, which he absolutely loved, the house manual, which tells you all about the area, coffee, and tea, nice things like dog bowls for our dog and games for our family to play. It was a lovely place to stay and I can see myself staying there again. They really do go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and at home.

This is the best Vrbo we have ever experienced. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, many extra touches, big yard, hot tub, outside table/chairs, fire pit. Comfortable living room, upgraded bedding, even dog bed & blankets. We are unable to suggest any improvements.

Great little cabin close to the slopes and shops

The cabin was perfect. Perfect size, perfect location, perfect amenities. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night , I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back to enjoy. Thank you. Oh and the host was super kind and informative

Host was lovely and communicative. Location was great and convenient. Hot tub was nice. As a whole, I felt like the price didn’t reflect the quality of the property. The house’s building materials were kind of cheap, the blinds were broken and tangled, and the hand soap was noticeably watered down (super weird).In other words, felt overpriced. Perfect for a cozy weekend if you’re spending all your time skiiing, but not an ideal stay at home getaway.

Great amenities and felt so homely

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy chalet. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were clean and well maintained, the host was very communicative, and the location was perfect. We truly enjoyed our time and look forward to staying again.

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin! The place was super clean and cozy. Very close to everything (lake, mountains, village, stores, restaurants, etc.). There is even a dog park close by. The dogs had so much fun playing in the backyard and sunbathing on the deck :). The host was extremely responsive and sweet. Everything went very smoothly. Will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here at this cozy chalet. All of the little details they put into the house really made our stay amazing. We loved the hot tub and that it was dog friendly. We will be back next time we book a stay in big bear.

This space went above our expectations. Super clean, spacious and comfortable. Our family including our fur baby were all so happy and enjoyed the space thoroughly. The host was super responsive and kind. It was just wonderful and will be going back again soon.

Great place in a great neighborhood. Amazing amenities. Spent our anniversary at the Chalet with our dog. Dog was overwhelmed with joy in the backyard. The owner was very attentive and responsive to our minimal needs. Very clear instructions and rules. Will stay again!

This was the best VRBO we have stayed in. So cozy and homey and so many extra special touches. The backyard is wonderful for relaxing BBQ, wonderful Jacuzzi and fire pit. Fully fenced yard so with supervision our little dog had so much fun and enjoyed laying in the sun on the front deck as well. Exceeded expectations. Beautiful property and communication with owner top notch!!

Great house and yard.Host provided a ton of very thoughtful amenities including a park pass.Host was very helpful during surprise blackout due to citywide power shut off during winds.Great neighborhood w coffee shops, donut shops, and bar/restaurant but still very quiet.

We booked this property for the outdoor space and we were not disappointed! Our goal was to relax in a quiet and comfortable space, enjoy the mountain air and spend quality time with our fur babies. The inside was equally impressive - the owners are professional and thought of everything and more! From the welcome gifts and fully stocked coffee bar to the fluffy towels and wireless speaker - their attention to detail was unmatched. We cannot wait to return!

This cozy mountain home provided every item one needs to enjoy their stay. The hostess thought of everything and even had some useful little gifts for her clients. The beds were super comfortable, the backyard was perfect! Enjoyed relaxing in the hammock plus having dinner around the firepit! We highly recommend staying at Winterland!! We plan to book it again and try a trip to enjoy a snow day or two.

Stayed at this beautiful place for a weekend in early June - we were taken aback by how clean the place was. The location is great, as it is close to everything Big Bear, and the listing of amenities is accurate. Check in and out are very smooth, and the host is very available and kind throughout. 100% recommend, and we can’t wait to return!

We have a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old, and this place was just perfect for us. We felt very safe with the fully fenced yard and plenty of space to play with different things to do. Overall, it was an amazing vacation experience.

The cabin is filled with small details to make you feel welcome ranging from fresh ground coffee to an adventure pass to helpful labels. The location was close to slopes and village.

We stayed two nights so my son could snowboard. The chalet was perfect and had everything we needed. The location was central to everything!!

This is was the perfect chalet to stay in in Big Bear!The minute we walked in with our two little fur babies we felt right at home and ready to enjoy the weekend. We looked around to get a feel for the place before we settled in we notice you had every amenity for your guest and their fur babies to feel welcome. WE LOVED, LOVED the backyard! It was a perfect place to chill out hang out for the evening with our dogs so that they can run around with out any worries. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful Winterland Chalet! Our stay at Winterland Chalet in Big Bear was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how cozy and well-appointed the home was. Every detail was carefully thought out – fluffy towels, hotel-quality bedding, and a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a great meal, all contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.Check-in was a breeze, and Jen made communication so easy, ensuring the entire experience was smooth and stress-free.We brought our 95lb dog, Darcy, with us, and the property was perfect for her. It felt completely safe and secure, and they had all the little things covered – like a dog chew gift, and small dog bowls that we used for water. If you have a larger dog like we do, I suggest packing some larger dog bowls. The backyard was adorable, giving our pup plenty of room to play while we relaxed in the peaceful setting.The thoughtful welcome gifts were a lovely surprise – a bottle of wine to enjoy by the fire and lip balm to keep us protected from the dry, snowy conditions.The jacuzzi was another highlight. It was sparkling clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing while surrounded by the serene, snow-covered landscape – a truly special way to unwind.This home is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we can’t wait to return. We highly recommend Winterland Chalet to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and pet-friendly place to stay in Big Bear!

Overall this property was amazing! The host was very communicative and gracious, the place was very well stocked and overall a great experience. We enjoyed skiing at Snow Summit nearby, and following with a relaxing hot tub hangout! Our dogs also thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in yard and had a blast!

The cabin is exactly as pictured. It is cozy and has all the conveniences of home. We loved the location which was very close to Snow Summit. Our pup enjoys his treats and the backyard. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I booked this cabin for a long weekend. The location was perfect! We enjoyed it being close enough to the village square it was an easy drive but far enough away that we were able to avoid the crowded areas. The unit was extremely clean! The amenities were off the charts! We had access to everything we could have wanted and more! There was plenty of space for my wife and I along with our two dogs! I would definitely recommend staying here! Hard to imagine a nicer place to be!

This was our first time in Big Bear and Jennifer could not have been any better! The place was amazing and just as described and our pups Taco and Tito loved all the goodies provided. Jennifer was our personal concierge up to and throughout the trip, keeping us informed of events going on and the fires south that were devastating the areas. She was very flexible and willing to work with us with these disasters. The cabin is very close to everything. We would definitely not hesitate to stay with Jennifer again.

My husband and I were looking for a brief getaway to relax and decompress. The property was everything we expected and more. Nice little touches and even things we didn’t think about were provided. We took our dog and it was just the right fit for the 3 of us. Beautiful chalet and very well kept, not what you would expect for a dog friendly home. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and evenings and we didn’t use all the amenities, but whatever you want it’s all there. Wonderful host who was very accessible and went above and beyond before, during and after our stay! Thank you! It was just what we needed.

From beginning to end this was a fantastic getaway cabin with a wonderful host! Jennifer responded immediately to any questions & offered tips. The decor was cozy and inviting. Every little detail was thought of from the host. Love how dog friendly it was and a great backyard!!
