Cozy ‘Caymus Cabin’ ~ 3 Miles to Callaway Gardens!

My family and I enjoyed the clean, spacious fully-equipped cabin as a our first family Christmas trip. The fireplace was awesome with enough wood to make it through some very cold nights. The area was quaint, very quiet and well-kept. We simply enjoyed everything. What are you waiting for?!

The cabin was as described. We had actually stayed before. Because the host was so accommodating and nice we decided to come again. We had another great time with a different group of friends and family this time. We highly recommend this place. The shops and eating places are close to the cabin. The local store owners are very nice and friendly.

Upon arrival at the Chalet it quickly became evident our Hosts had gone well beyond what you’d typically expect. We relaxed, lacked for nothing and we’re able to enjoy our 50th anniversary with family. The attention to little details and clear helpful notes helped provide direction and avoid unwanted confusion— Well done and thank you to our Hosts, Mike and Lisa

We had a relatively short stay for a wedding. The house was spacious and clean but seemed a little aged. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked and dishes clean but we didn’t cook during our stay beyond making coffee and using the microwave. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues with the door lock and the shower upstairs in the hall bathroom. The host communicated very well throughout our experience and was very responsive. Overall it was a good place to stay and we had a good weekend.

They were right there for every question I had. Even the ones that were redundant.

It is a very nice cabin with lots of room. We didn't cook a lot, but everything seemed good.

This property was perfect for our family getaway! Host was available and promptly answered questions. Grandkids loved having the downstairs area to hang out and play

Was cozy. Felt like someone 's home. Had everything we needed. Convenient to Pine Mtn & Callaway.

Only problem which was addressed by owner was pests in one of the bedrooms. Would stay there again. Great location to Callaway Gardens Most cabins on Entire property could use pressure washing and general cleanup

This was our first VRBO experience, and our first all-family vacation that didn't take place at our home! This large cabin (5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with tons of open indoor and outdoor space) checked all of our boxes and then some. We had 11 family members with us for the week (2 daughters, 1 son, 2 sons-in-law, 4 grandchildren, plus my wife and I) representing a variety of vacation interests, from active outdoor activities like hiking and fishing to the kiddos playing Barbies and doing Karaoke to just sitting on a comfy couch or the breezy porch and reading a book or napping. Couldn't ask for better accommodations to suite everyone's wishes! Owners Michael and Lisa Cox are the best and I was so grateful for their timely and helpful communication, even when most of the time the answers to my questions were in the advance material they sent out or posted on friendly notes on the walls! Highly recommend this property which is situation and a beautiful resort with lots of amenities and a peaceful lake where you can row a boat and fish; grandson caught a 15 inch bass! We enjoyed our time together in a wooded setting.

A beautiful experience with family being together - the setup of the chalet was wonderful with comfortable beds and sheets - plenty of towels. Nice area - enjoyed walks, the pool, ping pong and making memories with the children...they enjoyed being together, going to the Wild Animal Safari and Calloway Gardens Butterfly Center and the beach at Calloway was wonderful.

Great location to Callaway Gardens where we were attending a wakeboard event. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room downstairs and on the main level. Great deck for outside dinner seating. Beautiful area to take morning walks. Pictures get a couple pictures.

When I picked this cabin, I had no idea it would be such a beautiful stay. This cabin in particular is at the back of the property, but it was right across the street from this amazing pasture. We got to see the cows being rounded up and everything. It was just like I wanted and just what we needed. I had family and friends spend my birthday with me and there was enough space for all of us to be comfortable. It was just an amazing trip and I would book this cabin over and over. Oh yeah, the host communication was superb. Fantastic trip!

The trip was good to gather with family. Some of the dishes were not clean. The bottom level stays cold regardless of setting the AC at the top level. Could not find a thermostat for the bottom level. The host did respond. Overall we enjoyed.

Plenty of fun activities in the neighborhood to enjoy in between and after enjoying the local attractions.

Located in a quaint neighborhood with nearby shopping abd other attractions. We had a lovely stay.

Very nice cabin in a wooded setting. Cabin was very well equiped kitchen, bath, bedding. Lots of room to spred out. Loved just taking walks around the lake with all the barvarian syle cabins. 5 minuites to stores and Calloway Gardens.

We came to Pine Mountain for a Thanksgiving/Reunion with family who live locally. Very comfortable stay with my parents (78 and 81), my sister’s family and my family. Plenty of room and well appointed and comfortable. Host very responsive and helpful. My Dad was not able to climb to the second floor, but bedrooms on first floor were nice. Just cooler downstairs and not as updated as the second floor. Still a great visit and so comfortable with everything you could need.

The house was super cozy. We didn’t stay long enough to really get to explore the resort but it was super nice.

This was a great place for our staff team of 8-10 to have our annual retreat -- we were able to cook for ourselves, and the large den was great for our programs and discussion times. Having 5 bedrooms with a variety of bed configurations was helpful, too, as we could only have one person per bed (two rooms have more than one bed, which is how we could accommodate our 8 folks). Also the tables and chairs at the lake resort recreation center were great for a short program at the end of our time. Good places to eat around in Pine Mountain, as well.

Super cozy, well kept, quiet place to stay!! The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed to prepare our own meals and just relax. Beds and furnishings were the most comfortable of any place I’ve ever stayed!!! I recommend this cabin to anyone especially for several occupants as there is more than enough living space.
