Welcome to Opie's Cabins. These Cozy Cabins are fully restored 100-year old Rail Road Cabins, located near the Comal River. The Comal River is within walking distance and can been seen from the deck. Texas Tubes is located next door for easy outdoor fun. Each Cabin is uniquely decorated with it's own theme. All 8 cabins are connected with a gorgeous deck, which makes reserving multiple cabins more convenient for larger parties and groups.

Stayed Aug 22, 2025This is my SECOND time at these cabins! The Owner is very responsive, has a safe clean environment and close to all the entertainment. If you want somewhere quiet and close to float the river, this is definitely your place. Just book a cabin here, you won't be disappoint. Can't wait to go back next year!!

Stayed Jul 31, 20253rd/4th time and always a pleasure. Every new family member we bring enjoys the proximity to the river, restaurants and shops. Every morning we walked to the coffee shop and the bakery. The place is well cared. See yall next year.

Stayed Nov 3, 2024We had a large group of family get together for Wurstfest and we all stayed in these cabins. We had a great time and will stay there again every year if they were available. They are on the edge of downtown, but very calm quiet. I’m not a 10 minute walk to get to the wurstfest entrance.
