Welcome to Tuckaleechee Retreat Center, a Christian non-profit, which is home to the National Office for Children's Bible Ministries, Inc. Stayed Jan 17, 2026Our hot tub went out the first evening we were there. We called and they looked at it and said they couldn’t fix it. That’s one of the main reasons we booked the room. We were very disappointed. Then our fireplace didn’t work properly. We turned it on and it wouldn’t light and we only smelled gas so we turned it off. The bed was so hard and was very uncomfortable. I am so disappointed with this stay. We don’t get a chance to get away hardly ever and it was nothing like we thought it would be. :(

Stayed Oct 31, 2025We had a great stay. Check-in was easy, the cabin was well-kept, the kitchen was well-supplied, and the hot tub/gas fireplace were great for chilly nights!We were there while the ladybugs were trying to find a place to rest for the winter, so we had to keep on top of cleaning them up throughout the stay, but that's not unexpected for the Fall.

Stayed Oct 14, 2024Our family of 5 stayed very comfortable in the two bedroom. We have three little kids and they loved it. The private hot tub was wonderful as it got down into the 30s while we were there. The cabin was clean. The fire place stopped working in the morning and they had someone out there to fix it very quickly. We will be back!

Stayed Dec 29, 2018We had a great time! The power went off at a point in our stay we don’t know when because we weren’t there but we couldn’t get the hot tub to work right after that but I understand that was not something anyone could control. We loved it and would definitely come back!

Stayed May 27, 2017Cabin was beautiful, scenery was wonderful. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Loved the grill on the porch for some home cooking. Hot tub a nice feature for soaking sore feet. Overall great experience. Limited parking (1 car) at cabin, overflow parking up at lodge. Both beds were not the most comfortable and very noisy. All things considered, would definitely stay here again!
