Cozy cabin in our private woods, close to a bike trail, winery, and lakes

Very nice little house in a private wooded setting. Central location with most places in Traverse City being within a 15 min drive. Property had many thoughtful amenities, such as bikes, a grill, and a full kitchen. House was very clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was perfect. Out in the woods for nice privacy, but still close to all Traverse City and surrounding towns have to offer. The cabin was perfect inside and out.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cozy cabin. Beth was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed for our stay along with a sweet card and some local goodies. The cabin was adorable and we felt like we were at home. We will for sure be back!

The cabin was nestled in the middle of a scenic snowy forest. The entire experience was relaxing and restorative. The place had everything you need to chill out there or to explore the area. This is a great place for couples to go to get some privacy and to get away from the stresses of every day life.

Our whole experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. The cabins are immaculately cleaned, new appearance and finishing touches. We loved the welcoming features of the cabin they were amazing. We would love to stay there again. We had so much fun thank you for the great experience.

This was such a beautiful cabin! It is so well taken care of, you’d never know you were in the woods. All of the amenities and even the little local goodies they provided was such a sweet touch. It is a beautiful property to explore and we cannot wait to come back in the future :)

Everything about this cabin was excellent. It was super clean, very well equipped, quiet, secluded and a great location. The king size bed was very comfortable. This was our first VRBO stay and it was great. We would love to come back in the winter. The owners were fantastic and so helpful.

Very clean, cozy, and private! Close to the TART and Leelenah Bike Trails! Great place to ride! We did a self guided winery and brewery tour, this place was perfectly located for that! Roads and drivers are very bike friendly! We had an amazing time for our 35th wedding anniversary! Beth even left us an anniversary gift and card! The extra touches in this VRBO and the ambiance were top notch! Highly recommend!

This is my second time renting a cabin at The Woods of Leelanau. The first time around, my husband and I stayed at The Americana, then, just last week, we were at The Cozy Cabin. Both cabins were exceptional, and we loved our experience. We enjoyed having quiet, slow, mornings with a pot of coffee and fresh eggs on a gorgeous porch surrounded by wildlife. There are nice hiking trails on the property, one of which goes up to an overlook with a view.

We love the Cozy Cabin! Our second stay. Lovely spot. Super well maintained. And has everything in it we’d want and need. Beth is always super helpful as well.

Cozy is the perfect description for this cute cottage in the woods. It feels isolated, but is located a short drive from Traverse City. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were even two bottles of wine, some local treats, and fresh eggs!

The cozy cabin is exactly that! A comfortable open concept cabin that is well appointed, quiet and super comfy. If you want to be close to all Traverse city has but not feel like you’re in the city this is your place. We used the bikes to go back and forth and that was so much fun. Bring a helmet though.

We love staying in Beth and Terry’s cabins in the woods. We’re introverts who love the peace, quiet, and privacy away from it all. We’re so thankful for the wonderful respite away from home with all the creature comforts.

If I could give Beth and Terry more than 5 stars I would! This was our second year staying and have already booked again for next winter. The cabin was EXTREMELY clean, the plow service did an amazing job keeping everything plowed out for us. There is anything you could think you may need for your stay, plus some! They even provide you with local goodies to enjoy! Highly recommend their cabins!

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cabin! We definitely want to come back! There was so much we wanted to explore on the property but didn’t end up having time. We plan to return and spend more time actually at the house!

This was my 5th time to stay at this property and I will continue to keep returning. I use it as a self care getaway and it’s perfect. This was our first time staying in the Cozy Cabin, but our second time on the property. The cabins are beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and very clean. The property is especially gorgeous this time of year with all of the fall color. Communication with the owners is great. Beth responded to an issue we had immediately. We can't wait to come back a third time!

Can't say enough good things about our experience at the Cozy Cabin. My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend. The previous reviews were spot on. Beth and Terry have created and maintained an amazing get away. The welcome book was filled with comments from people that have been there 2, 3, 4+ times, and I can understand why. Just wonderful. We'll be back. You won't be disappointed.

This is our second time staying at the Cozy Cabin. The cabin is in a quiet, secluded area, which allows for optimum rest & relaxation. It’s very close to the Leelanau Trail, which is great for walking, running or biking. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, screened in porch. Hosts Beth & Terry are fantastic! They have equipped the house with everything one would need to make your stay very comfortable. They also let us know they were available if we needed anything. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect place for a restful stay

We were really impressed with the fine details they put into the cabin. It was a great location and very comfortable; made us feel like home.

Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our store. Beth was always available if we needed anything, even when she was away on her on vacation. The treats left at the cabin were delicious. The cabin was located in a beautifully wooded area about 10 minutes outside of Traverse City. It provided us with the seclusion we were looking for, while still having easy access to town. We really enjoyed the open layout of the cabin. It felt incredibly roomy inside. The enclosed porch area was also a nice touch with plenty of views into woods outside. The kitchen had plenty of spices and utensils for any meal prep we needed during our stay. The location was ideal for us as we were able to explore a large portion of the Lake Michigan Shoreline from Manistee up thru Charlevoix during our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
