Cozy Amish Country Cabin on Shipshewana Lake!

Setting was very beautiful. Quiet area, well maintained. Cabin was very nice. Great for a get-a-way, although there are things to do, places to see and eat within a reasonable driving distance.

We had a great time, this was our 3rd year renting this home, the hot tub is amazing especially when it’s snowing. Home quite comfortable, only a couple issues…not enough lamps in living room or bedrooms, bulbs too dim to give good light.

Perfect location for a get away. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was extra big and great for multiple people. The cabin is convenient to everything. We will be back and look forward to staying here again!

A very nice property...no king bed! Not quiet finished on bottom floor. View is blocked by 1 hugh tree from deck. Long walk up hill and down hill to the water. But nice cabin just needs a few more adjustments and would be a 5 star. All in all pleasant place to stay would do it again.

A nice clean cabin. Main floor shower was super tiny and didn’t have much light at all. Nice view of the lake. An overall good experience.

My sister and I enjoyed the cabin! Perfect location to Shipshewana and Middlebury! We liked how peaceful and relaxing it was by the lake! Nice hot tub to enjoy after a day shopping. I can see another sister trip here in future!

Nice home, view from the deck was amazing. Close to all the things we wanted to do.

There's a pretty view of the lake from the back of the cabin. The inside of the cabin is nicely setup and clean. The outside needs a little work. That does not keep us from giving a 5 start review. There's a lovely little dock with chairs setup by the lake. There is lots of shops and things to do and see in the surrounding area. The people in the community are friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was nice for cooler evenings. We can't wait to come back.

We had a great time, girls shopping, guys fishing. The cabin was wonderful, plenty of room, in a nice quiet area right on the lake, but also just a few minutes from all the attractions and restaurants in town. We would definitely come back

We were blown away by the superior style of the home as well as the breathtaking views, right from he living room. We also enjoyed taking our boat out on the lake and having the boat launch in walking distance was nice too. Nice place, very clean- highly recommended.

The structure was nice.There were no outside garbage cans. We were told to leave the bag in front. The animals ripped it apart. We rebadged it twice only to have garbage scattered all over. The host was informed but left scattered garbage for two days. We wanted to cook but there was such a short supply of cookware. Then we found the dishwasher full of dirty dishes from prior guests. The hot tub was unusable. It was dirty. The headrest was hanging on and had mold on it. The deck was so full of leaves and debris that it was not usable. The front plate of the microwave is hanging off it’s hard to press buttons. Two of the four burners on the stove don’t work. The lamp in the bedroom was broken. Hard to see when getting up at night. Huge shortages on supplies ie three rolls of toilet paper for two people for four days. I was told I had use the pier at my own risk. It’s too dangerous per Leon. (Amenity?). The last straw was finding towels and washcloths in the wash with floor mops!!!I’m pretty sure this is a violation I left a letter for Leon with some concerns however like with everything else no response.I have stayed in Virbos all over the US and never been so dissatisfied and disappointed

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The photos are accurate. The hot tub was wonderful. Kitchen utensils were well stocked, but could have used more plates, wine glasses, etc. We ate 2 meals in and had to wash dishes after each meal. Unit could also used more hooks -either in hallway or bathrooms for wet towels (from both bath and hot tub) Basement closet was unusable. No rod or hangers. We loved looking out over the lake and used the deck as weather permitted. It's a nice spot to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

The cabin is simple but comfortable. The lake view is beautiful! It is in a quiet neighborhood with narrow streets. We were able to check in early. We felt very safe and enjoyed the view of the lake from the cabin. It was too cold and windy to be outside. Close proximity to Amish community. Some suggestions for the owner: Window blinds on the large windows for nighttime, soap in the showers and dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher. The bedrooms are large enough for king size beds but only have doubles. Brush needs to be cleared for easy access to the lake. We would be happy to stay there again.

The property was as listed - no disappointment or surprises. Highly recommend this rental!

Snow was falling during our time here. We relaxed in the hot tub and listened to the sounds of nature, not much other noise around to hear. Very relaxing place!

Sweet spot with hot tub, cozy and comfortable, we will be back!

Nice little place. Post was very accurate, cabin and property were very clean. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay.

But other that that we had a great time fishing, exploring the Amish community, and all there wonderful shops. Attended a concert at the Blue Gate center, it was wonderful. Ate to much, and enjoyed relaxing, and spending some time in the jacuzzi

The little cabin was perfect for a weekend away. Everything was nice and clean. Check-in, and check-out were easy. We very much enjoyed our stay.
