Fairbanks, Alaska
Mountain and City VIEW property! Charming and cozy home with a view just outside the city of Fairbanks. The cabin has all of the amenities for your comfort while being in a forest-like setting, with amazing views. From September-April if the northern lights are out, you can view them right outside the cabin. Come and relax in this calm, stylish space. The aurora is right outside the cabin on any given night...
Side note:
Staying in the city of Fairbanks makes viewing the northern lights extremly difficult due to light pollution. The cabin being a few miles outside of town makes it the perfect location and conditions for viewing the northern lights, having zero light polllution.
Beautiful cabin that my wife and I absolutely loved! The rate was beyond reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem.
A truly enjoyable experience. Felt more like home than staying at a hotel. Not too far from town, but far enough out to not have light pollution. If i come back to Fairbanks, I'll be coming back!
The cabin was convenient for all of our planned destination.
It was everything I wanted and more
Very nice little cabin nestled in the perfect location overlooking the Fairbanks lights. Cozy and perfect for our weekend trip to Fairbanks. Thank you Trudy for sharing your cabin with us for the weekend. We enjoyed the hospitality.
This is a very nice and cozy cabin in the wilderness of Alaska. Close to the airport and other attractions like the Alaska Pipeline, Gold Daughters, Pioneer Park, 1 hour from Chena Hot Springs, 30 minutes to Black Spruce Dog Sledding. The owner was kind, awesome and very responsive. We opted to rent her car that comes with the cabin and that was very convenient. Nice place to enjoy the Northern Lights and a view to the Denali. If I ever go back to Fairbanks, I wouldn't think twice about staying here.
We loved this cabin. It was spacious and clean. Full kitchen with everything needed. Easy access to the city but secluded in the woods. We saw the northern lights while standing outside. We stayed in September but hope to come back in winter. Owner was quick to respond to our questions. Highly recommend.
Perfect location for a quite stay. Only one downside for us is that it really wasn't suitable for 4 adults.
Cozy Alaskan cabin is exactly what this is. I was only here for one night, and wish I could've been there more! I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you're in Fairbanks!
Thank you, very nice rustic cabin.
Nice quiet cabin just north of Fairbanks. Easy drive to town for dinner. Great view of the city and mountains in the distance. Internet was good. Great place to relax.
Just north of Fairbanks with a good view of town. Nice property in a quiet neighborhood. Not sure why we were expecting it to be served by a well but it’s not….there’s a water tank inside the unit. Needed a refill after three days (2 people and normal water usage…showers, etc). Host filled the tank when we requested but definitely factor that into your stay. Overall, a nice unit in a great location.
This property is located on a hill just north of Fairbanks. Good view of city lights at night but could also see northern lights if out. Easy access to Fairbanks, road to Chena Hot Springs, Cleary Summit for northern lights and so on. Manager Trudy was very attentive. Will definitely check it out again if staying in the area.
Although we weren’t in Fairbanks very long we enjoyed the comfort of your home. We were able to go and see the Northern Lights while we were there.
Quite and Cozy
We loved staying here. The host was very helpful. The cabin is updated and lovely. It has a full kitchen. The location was perfect for touring the area attractions.
Had everything we needed.
Property was clean and warm. Location was awesome. Located in the hills outside of the city. Beautiful view of the city lights at night to the south and the aurora to the north. One day I could see Denali!!
Great property!
Property is nice and accessible but bad service by property owner. Basic things werent provided even when we asked for it. There were no hand towels or paper towels in the house. Just two bath towels, one wash clothes, and one kitchen napkin. I reached out to the owner and she dint even respond. I had to use my used t-shirt to wipe off a coffee spill. The coffee maker was dirty and had old filter in it. It was specified that there is WiFi at the property. My husband and I needed to work from home. The Wifi barely worked for a few hours during our stay. You dont get phone service here or barely one small bar at times. When asked property owner to get it fixed, she said that plug on-off, which we already did, on that she said that it normally works that way but if it isnt, there is nothing she can do. Not happy with the service at all
This sweet little cabin is a bit north and east of Fairbanks. The drive is pretty and easy. No problems locating the property, even as it's a bit isolated. The cabin was perfect! Private and quiet and just as the photos displayed. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
It’s just what we wanted, a place to cook meals and eat together, sleep, and unwind after a lengthy journey from home.
Great option for a small party heading to or back from Dead Horse. No complaints.
We enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again.
The host was very friendly and accommodating. Liked the cabins location.
We had a great time here at the cabin. The days were clear, cold and beautiful. We were able to visit chena hots springs, an hr away, was able to see all of Fairbanks in at distance, and get a clear view of Denali from the cabin. All comforts of home, with the owner right next to us, yet still private. It's was awesome.
