Easy to find just outside the gates of Smith Lake Park. Cabin is right next to the boat launch parking and restroom but the boat launch is further to the left. No issues at all from sound or problems with either. The view out to the lake is stunning and the cabin is nicely equipped and very cozy. We loved it and will be back.

The property manager was very friendly. Checkin was easy The workers at the Lake store/Park Office were all friendly & knowledgeable of area. The employees at the swimming pool were attentive & very friendly & we enjoyed very much. There was a basketball, pickle ball/tennis court, putt-putt golf. Cabin was clean, pots, pans, utensils, towels all furnished. The mattresses were comfortable. There was a great view of the lake.Afishing peer just 50 feet away, and the boat launch area. Enjoyed the stay & the area. It was a little strange with the public restroom being 10 foot away, there was people using it at all hours. The beach area should have a bathroom area of its own to cut down on the traffick. It was uncomfortable thinking about it the first night but the area is nice & in a good place. The park employees and grass mowers were about the grounds daily and the park looked well kept and clean. We enjoyed watching the boats & seadoos launch and to load up. Nice quiet area & friendly people. Great staff that runs the office, does the booking, the store is well stocked with most things you would need including drinks and ice, snacks, fishing supplies, swimming floats, just anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay overall. Except one little hiccup with the code to the keypad. We tried contacting the host but it was very late and she didn’t get back to us until the morning. There should be an emergency number in the future just in case. We will definitely stay again.

The cabin is cute and cozy as pictures show. Except for the ants who invaded us and the location was terrible. It was right next to a very busy boat launch access with speeding drivers. The public restrooms right next door was a surprise and was a steady flow of nefarious characters around the clock. The evenings were filled with joy, but sometime a 2018 black mustang’s peeling donuts in the boat launch parking lot made for much noise and sleep distribution. The lake access was down a ways at a public pier. Just need to be a bit more specific in the add and we definitely should have “Google Earthed” it.
