Stayed Nov 9, 2023The Cowboy Cabin was a great location for our event at Pace Bend park. As advertised, this was a small, quaint location with a great cowboy feel and decor. If drier during our visit, we would really have enjoyed the outdoor area and firepit! Host was very responsive to questions before our arrival. Had a blast!

Stayed Jun 22, 2023We loved our stayed at the cowboy cabin! The cabin was nice and clean. It felt like a home away from home. Our kids loved playing connect 4 and walking to the lake. Rick and Kristy were wonderful and very helpful. We loved the recommendations to restaurants and the lake access. We definitely coming back to spicewood ?

Stayed Dec 30, 2022Really enjoyed our time at the Cowboy Cabin. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. As mentioned has a bedroom, a loft and a sofa bed that are all very cozy. Definitely recommend booking here if your looking to get away from the city and enjoy some quite time.

Stayed Nov 24, 2022This is a cute, cozy cabin with a short walk to the lake. Pace Park is around the corner and so is Pedernales for Hiking. There was a mama deer & 2 babies. It was a very peaceful stay. If you enjoy lakes, this cabin is in the perfect spot. Austin is only 40 mins. away from Cabin. :-)

Stayed Jun 24, 2022The cowboy cabin was very cute and worked perfectly for a weekend retreat with friends. It would be a perfect set-up for two couples or else you'll end up sharing beds. The place was well stocked with little things like cups, plates, ketchup and mustard which were all thoughtful touches. The lake was very low and muddy but that just made getting there an extra adventure. The water does have a bit of a sulfur smell but a Britta is provided.

Stayed May 27, 2022We had ad a wonderful time staying at this cabin. It was small but it had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable, which was a plus. Our Grandkids, ages 4 and 20 months loved the loft and playing on the front porch. The kayaks were a great plus although getting the kayaks was a bit challenging with the muddy bog, we still had fun. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a couple or a family with small kids. Thanks for your hospitality!

Stayed May 12, 2022This was a great place to stay... kind of a crowded little area, but that gave us a good chance to visit with our neighbors. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
