Plenty of room to roam outside around the cabin. We have 70 acres for you to explore and hike. (But please be mindful of neighbors)

Met here for a family/friends Hallmark Christmas getaway and this place delivered! It was absolutely beautiful and decorated for Christmas. Everything was above and beyond my expectations! It was clean and very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We had an amazing experience and will definitely visit again
If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to stay and recharge this is the place! The cabin is beautiful and the views are stunning! We had the best time enjoying the quiet and the crisp mountain air! We will definitely be back!
This cabin was just perfect. It was a wonderful peaceful retreat and nice escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The views were incredible and the Spanish Peaks were breathtaking at sunset. The walking trail around the property was a nice added bonus. The house itself was beautiful. There were so many small touches that really put the experience over the top. The kitchen was kind of a random selection of pots and pans but we were able to find what we needed to make dinner. The grill outside was fantastic. Plenty of dishes and silverware so none of that was a problem. It was pretty warm when we were there and as the sun started to set as we cooked dinner the house got a bit warm. There is an AC and it definitely helped keep the house comfortable the rest of the time. I think it would benefit from another AC unit upstairs during those warmer times. It cooled off at night though so opening the windows helped a great deal. Overall it was such a great experience and a great place we have already started talking about our plans for next year. And I have to add that the owner Erin was impeccable with communication. I felt like I had a lot of questions and she was easy to reach and responded quickly and seemed so incredibly kind through our messages. We feel so grateful they open up their home for others to experience this truly special piece of property.
This has been our second of many more stays to come…. I have seen the cabin covered in snow, I have seen it on a summer day, and I have seen it during an impressive a storm. There is no wrong time to go. This place is magical year round and we are so thankful the owners have shared this slice of paradise with us. This Will be an annual trip for my family and I :)
This is an excellent property, extremely quiet and remote. Our family had a fantastic, relaxing stay and enjoyed the games, quiet, and trails on the 70 acre property. The home is very clean and well stocked, and has internet with TVs and streaming apps to keep you connected and entertained during those times when you would rather be indoors than out. But don’t forget to enjoy the mornings and evenings in the screened porch room with excellent views!
It was everything we had hoped to be. We were presently surprised about the extras, simple things like extra toothbrushes, to laundry detergent. It was so nice to wash all out clothes before we left to come home with fresh clean clothes. We saw turkeys, deer, and the cows came to visit every evening. Just fabulous. Thank you Erin. Beautiful place, put my name down for a repeat customer in the further. We will be back for sure.
Clean, secluded, and beautiful! Nicely stocked kitchen, linens, and beautiful views!
What a beautiful, secluded place. They thought of everything! A fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, a fireplace to curl up to in the cool evenings, and I have to mention, the house was spotless. We spent time walking the trails, gazing at the stars and every morning there seemed to be a fresh blanket in of snow on top of the mountain peaks. Just beautiful .
Exactly as advertised. Loved the house and property.
Had a great time in the mountains. Saw lots of wildlife on the way and while at the property. House/cabin is beautiful and as advertised.
The property was beautiful! The cabin was well stocked. Liked the nice touches of incidentals such as toothbrushes, tooth paste, etc. The only thing I would do is put a nice shower head in downstairs bathroom. Over all the cabin was excellent and I would definitely stay again!
Loved our stay at the cowboy cabin! Beautiful land and the house was set up perfectly for visitors with all the details thought out!
This is our second stay and it was just as amazing as the first. Views never get old and we explored the trails more on this trip. Wouldn't change a thing and we will be back.
Wow! What a beautiful, peaceful place! We enjoyed our stay it was so restful and the house is wonderful and well stocked. Erin was a wonderful host. We are looking forward to coming back really soon!
This isbhands down the best place I've stayed at in Colorado. The views are amazing and the location perfect. Even though we were about a 45 minute drive from Trinidad we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. We will be back.
Beautiful place thank you
Wonderful place to get away for a few days. The views and sunsets are gorgeous, cabin is beautiful, and just a great place to be out in nature. Had a few mule deer walk across the yard as we watched from the porch. Only complaint is there is no A/C and ad did not list property as no A/C. Our stay was a bit warm, mid 90’s temps during the day but we were usually out exploring southern Colorado and evenings were cool and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again, just not in the middle of summer.
The view was amazing. House had patio and windows positioned to view all the beauty . Property and walking trail was great. Overall excellent experience.
Had a lovely weekend in this beautiful home. So well appointed with everything anyone could need. Quiet, relaxing and beautiful views. Outstanding experience.
We rented this for two family events near Trinidad, Co. The drive to the cabin is absolutely reminiscent of a movie! It is absolutely beautiful! The cabin itself is organized and labeled and has every and any creature comfort you can imagine, including makeup wipes, extra toothbrushes, blow dryer, washer/dryer. We spent most of our time outside playing corn hole (which was provided) and cards on the porch. However inside is the perfect cabin retreat. I can not say enough good things about this rental. I am not sure if it has A/C, so if that is important to you possibly ask - We did not need it in May. I would rent again for sure.
Highly recommend this place. Very clean, very quiet and lots of trails to hike on.
