Smithville, Texas
This awesome cabin is your perfect place to get away from it all. Bring your kids, pets or just come and relax with your special other and enjoy this serene, secluded spacious cabin. You won't be disappointed.- Close to Lake Bastrop and Bastrop State Park
- Near by access to Bastrop and Smithville downtowns- Less than an hour from The Circuit Of The Americas, Austin downtown music and food scene and lots more!
This place is well situated upon a hilltop, looking out over a bottomland with a running creek. It is quite comfortable inside; bright and lots of great scenery out of the second-story windows. Great shower and an excellent bed in the master. Plenty of room upstairs. And then there is John; the guy you call when you have a bit of trouble (mine was that I could not decipher the Wi-Fi code). Excellent service and prompt return call. Great value. I will be staying here exclusively when my business interest in the area dictate.
The property has the most relaxing ambiance ,this will be your favorite place to go! Will definitely return. Nice hidden gem.
I’m a single mother… decided to take my son and our dogs to the woods for the weekend. We loved this place! Simple, quiet, safe and private. We will definitely be coming back!!
This was exactly what we needed for the weekend. Quiet and secluded. Very nice. We would stay here again
We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is beautiful, and the place is cozy and quiet. it is also very convenient to Smithville, Bastrop, and Austin. Highly recommend!
Quiet and private rural hideaway with beautiful views and comfortable bed, with plenty of room for a big group. It is close to Bastrop and Smithville, as well as Austin, which is less than one hour away.
Perfect
If your looking to get away but still have some of the comfort of home this property nails it!
The cabin was the perfect wooded getaway for us. A rustic style that still includes modern amenities. Extremely secluded with nothing but trees and valley in view. Closing the doors and windows completely blocked all the outside noises so it was quiet as we slept. Made us want our own secluded cabin in the woods, so certainly a place we would stay again! Pros: Secluded in great wooded area New wood finish throughout looked amazing Full kitchen with Nespresso machine and coffee grinder Firepit outside Large deck with a great view Lots of wildlife sounds and views Well insulated so you can escape from all the outside sounds if you want Nice hot water and great pressure Convenience store within 2 miles with a small grocery Cons: Main entry door was stuck, had to force it open to get in. Once we were in, we used the patio door to get in and out and didn't open the other door again at all. Shower is a tight fit Heated with space heaters, so may be a bit chilly in coldest months. AC is a single window unit upstairs, so may be a factor in hottest times, too. In April it was awesome all day. Most windows do not have screens, so opening them up for a breeze also includes insects.
My family and I enjoyed the isolation and view from our cabin. It was nice to see deer right outside our window while grabbing coffee in the morning. My husband and son enjoyed the loft area where they could watch tv and play games. My daughter, pups, and I enjoyed the coziness of the bedroom especially with the space heater going.
