If you like a more secluded area, this house is GREAT! Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, sitting on the porch that overlooked the pond, sitting in the hot tub near the pond, and playing games supplied by the homeowner. They really thought of everything! The owners were very easy to reach through text. We had a small issue the one night with the water, and he fixed it immediately. The wooded area that surrounded the house was beautiful. We saw deer and even a coyote one evening. Most activities we did were around 20 minutes or so from the house. We rented a pontoon boat one day and went out on Salt Fork Lake which was lovely. We also spent an afternoon at Salt Fork Beach which was very clean. The house itself inside is a lovely log cabin type. It accommodated our three couples very well. They each had their own bathroom which was important to us. They had plenty of supplies and dishes. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen/dining area accommodated all of us comfortably. We would recommend this to anyone, especially families that just want to hang out and have fun!

A large, comfortable cabin that sits on a nice property. This place really has everything you want for a getaway. Great deck, hot tub, fire pit, fishing, games, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Friendly owner that made sure everything felt like home. Easy check in and check out… I highly recommend and will be back!

We stayed here Dec 21-23 for our family Christmas and birthday celebration. The place was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree, lights and lots of cool and unique items. The house was immaculately cleaned. We were pleased with how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were-literally everything one needs. The host even provides snacks and Smores fixins'. The grounds were lovely too. Even though it was 20 degrees out, we took a short hike around. We saw families of deers, hawks, other birds, and even a mink on the partially frozen pond. One highlight for many of us was the hot tub on the patio. We spent the evening in Cambridge enjoying the Christmas Dickens scenes, dinner at a nice local restaurant Theo's , and the courthouse light show. Then back to relax in the hot tub and watch the OSU football game in the basement , which BTW is stocked with tons of games to play! This was an amazing time in a home away from home!

We had an amazing time here! Not only was this cabin beautiful but the little things that were set up there made our stay even better. We loved the s’mores basket for us to enjoy (we forgot our smore stuff). My daughter loved to fish and all the games! We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was wonderful, from the fully stocked kitchen with quality appliance, clean grill, beautiful cabin, great hot tub, and everything around. Pond has plenty of bluegill, and we caught several small mouth bass and even a few tilapia.
