Other than the weather, we had a great stay in very very comfortable accommodations, the owner was very pleasant and and quite accommodating. A beautiful area to visit and the grounds are very well kept, We hope to return again
Cabin was nice, neat and comfortable. Wood stove was not connected to the chimney so we had no heat during the night. Temperature dropped to around 45 degrees at night. The screened in porch needed repairs. Trash bin was full even after the supposed pick up date. WiFi password did not work, which wasn’t so bad. Cabana and dock area was nice and clean, there were kayaks and canoes available for use with life vests and all.
Loved our stay!
This little cabin is a gem. 3 long time friends stayed here for a week. We loved the beautiful old time cabin interior, the grounds, and the shared deck and dock. We kayaked around the lake, swam from the dock/deck, fished (caught a couple of nice smallmouth), used the BBQ, ate inside and on the picnic table, and relaxed on the dock. WIFI and phone service were very sketchy or non-existant. We had to move around the grounds to get a signal, but none of us had any major internet or phone needs during the week, so this was mostly a non issue. Overall, we liked it so much that we hope to be back next year!
We had a wonderful week at Overlake Camp. The location is perfect for enjoying the lake and spending time with family. We saw loons, eagles and lots of other wildlife. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The camp is rustic but has everything you need for a relaxing week on the lake.
We rented the Barn camp and had a blast. The 4 of us met the renters in the other Overlake Camp one night we were out playing the guitar. They next thing we knew they joined in with a banjo, guitars, mandolin, & cello. We were all singing country and lovin it. People were coming over from around the lake to make the night something to remember. Wow! What a blast. The place was very neat and clean. Very rustic. No tv or radio, but we didnt need it. We rented a boat and loved the lake. We also found Mosher Hill Falls. It was beautiful. Thanks for a great time.
