Comfortable Cottage with Private Pool & Lovely Garden - Great Location

Overall great location - couch is very dirty and roosters in the yard. Tons of mosquitos at the pool need some type of spraying done or bug zapper. They repainted the outside all white so the listing needs to be updated from the cute yellow outside now being shown. Not as impressed as I hoped given the high cost

Sofa bed is extremely outdated and dirty! A good steam clean to cushions would help. Linens for the sofa were in the closet but had hair from previous renter. Bathroom blinds give zero privacy and window looks out to public street. When sleeping in sofa bed there is no way to make room private. Front doors don’t have blinds and isn’t fully etched.

Great place! Was clean, easy walk to restaurants, and pool was perfect size for the kids.

This is materially inaccurate.The property directly adjoins an outdoor nightclub and bar with a pool and dance area immediately across the fence line. Amplified music begins around 11 a.m. and continues into the early morning hours, with crowd noise and flashing lights visible from the home. None of this 18-hour activity is disclosed in the listing.There are also several maintenance and habitability issues inside the home:• The mini-split HVAC in the main living area does not function.• Living room cushions are visibly dirty.• The front door is obstructed by overgrown plants.• Bathroom blinds do not provide nighttime privacy.• The flooring in front of the toilet and inside the shower is soft/squishy, suggesting water damage.• There is a persistent musty odor throughout the home.We were in peak season and unable to secure alternative accommodations.I rent properties monthly for business and personal travel and have never encountered such a significant discrepancy between a listing and actual conditions. This experience has substantially reduced my confidence in both Vacasa and Vrbo. I received no responses from Vacasa phone calls or texts.

Excellent location! The pool was nice and warm and cleaned daily - kitchen is nicely updated. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use some updates but all worked fine! The bedroom walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear the noise in other rooms but not a deal breaker!

Location is amazing! Right off Duval and has private parking, not to mention your own swimming pool out back.

The house initially appeared clean on arrival, but was only superficially clean. The floors were dirty enough that the bottom of my feet became dark with dirt after walking around. The stove knobs were covered in oil splatter and the pots weren't very clean. We had to re-wash everything before use. There was no knife block, or any cutting knife/board, making food preparation difficult. The bathroom has no ventilation, so the house became humid after every shower. There's no screen on the window, so it couldn't be opened without fear of bugs or critters coming in. The shower knob was broken, and the floor under the bathtub felt squishy, probably from wood rot.The pool was not clean and the pump was not turned on, so we couldn't even use it. I contacted the rental company after arrival (Friday) and, after an initial response text, I didn't hear anything until I received a text about the pool company coming out after we checked out (Sunday). We couldn't use the smart TV functions at all. There was only a remote for the cable, but it wasn't universal. And the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. It kept disconnecting, making our phones useless if we were trying to watch any thing.It wasn't made clear that there weren't floor -to-ceiling walls between the rooms, and only had a shared ceiling fan/light. Curtains were hung in the doorway to the bedrooms for privacy.

Nice cottage...I would rent again in the future..

The location and the heated pool are great! The kitchen is also updated which a hug plus along with a small space for private parking. Keep in mind that there is an open air shared ceiling between the two bedrooms so you’ll hear everything and there is a small shared bathroom. Pack your ear plugs and eye shields if you plan to sleep in late due to a skylight over the bed and no room darkening shades/curtains. There is no coverage over the glass entry door so pedestrians will be able to see the couch and small portion of living room at night. There is a nearby bar that will play club music during the day and into about 2am. We rented a golf cart which made for quick transport down to the action near Sloppy Joes and it was nice to have to have the private parking at the home. Overall, a great home in a great location with an awesome backyard with heated pool and lush tropical vegetation. Stay here!
