Stayed Mar 28, 2026If you're looking for peace and quiet, then this is the place for you. This cabin sits on the East Branch of the Saco river and the cozy cabin has it all. We came up in early spring, so we enjoyed relaxing by the fire after being out all day. There's internet service and a smart tv which is nice if you have inclement weather. The queen size bed was comfortable as well. The surrounding mountains are incredible. There is an abundance of hiking trails all around the area along with skiing which was wrapping up when we were there. A must is the Mt. Washington Cog Railway. In the winter months it travels to an elevation of 4000 feet where you have coffee, hot chocolate and roast marshmallows by a fire and the rest of the year it goes to the summit of Mt Washington at 6288 feet. It is breathtaking. The views are absolutely amazing and your guide on the tours knowledge is remarkable. The Kancamagus highway in a beautiful senic drive. Unfortunately the ceiling was low when we were there and didn't see all that was to offer. The town of Conway has nice quaint shops along with the Conway Senic Railway. We stopped at Mystic Sugar Bakery since it was my wife's birthday. They have phenomenal cupcakes and their chocolate chip cookies were voted the best in New Hampshire. Zebs General Store is another must stop if you're there. All in all we highly recommend coming here and staying at this cabin. You won't be disappointed. The owners are fantastic and there if you need anything. We'll be b

Stayed Mar 6, 2026Cozy rustic cabin on a beautiful river - this is our third time staying here and we love it. Close to everything North Conway has to offer, but in a secluded, beautiful location where you can hear the river from the home. Fully stocked kitchen, games, washer and dryer. Great place with easy access to surrounding ski resorts, hiking, Storyland, and restaurants. Can’t wait to return!

Stayed Feb 19, 2026This cabin is a warm, welcoming home away from home. While it feels like its very rural it's actually close to all needs: restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment. The Host checked in with us when we arrived and was quick to reply to our correspondence. Although we had to leave early (due to a conflict in our schedule) we are already planning our return. We highly recommend this cabin experience to everyone. .

Stayed Feb 9, 2026Ohhhh the lovely sensation of melting into the comfy chairs, feet warm from the crackling fire and listening to the utter silence, broken only by the occasional shifting of the fireplace logs or the gurgle of the creek. Snowshoeing along the river path, fresh snow sifting down made our cheeks rosy. Then it was time for more dozing by the fire. The cabin was just what we needed to rest and restore. Back home now, we catch each other gazing into the distance, bodies here, minds back at the cozy cabin by the river.

Stayed Feb 6, 2026This is a great spot to stay for a ski weekend. Brenda was very nice and communicative, the location is excellent for skiing and it feels private. I will say that the shower is in need of some updating, but other than that it was a cozy cabin with charm and I’d definitely look at staying there again the next time I am in the North Conway area.

Stayed Oct 12, 2025Lost on the River cabin is a secluded accommodation yet close to everthing you might need. We were here in the fall and it was beautiful. It is obviously a family home and some amenities could do with an update. The heating worked well and with the log fire we were always warm enough. As previous guests have said the lighting could be better.

Stayed Aug 16, 2025Our family of five had the best time at this charming cabin! Everything was very clean and fit the five of us well. Our boys are 13, 10 &7. We loved our lazy mornings drinking coffee on the front porch listening to the sound of the rambling river. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our meals and Brenda’s book of recommendations was fabulous. The location of the cabin is perfection, it’s at the end of a quiet dirt road, close to everything North Conway and the white mountains have to offer but still feels secluded and private. Sharing a picture of their “secret” swimming hole our kids loved! Thank you again for sharing your home!!

Stayed May 1, 2025The location is, to me, unbeatable. It is the last house on a dead end dirt road/path that goes along a pristine river. Full privacy, and max beauty. Outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace, very welcoming and warm comfy cabin feel to this place. We had some run ins with ticks after a nearby hike (normal for the area), and no dishwasher (also not a big deal just want people to be aware).I would and have recommended this place to everyone. I would love to repeat in the future.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024This is a magical place! If you want peace, the beauty of nature, and the sound of the mighty Saco River, this is the place for you. The cabin is terrific, it has the feel of camping, but with all your household necessities. You can sit by the fire, only feet from the river, and relax all day.
