*Mountain Living — What to Expect

This cabin is in the mountains, 100 yards from national forest. Wildlife is part of the experience — you may see birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and occasionally deer, coyotes, or even bears from a distance. Smaller creatures (ants, spiders, moths) are common in mountain cabins despite regular pest treatment and cleaning.

Tips: Store all food in sealed containers or zip-lock bags (available at local stores). Don't leave food out. We place ant traps between guests but remove them before arrival for safety.

No refunds are provided for wildlife sightings — you're booking a mountain cabin in their territory, and that's part of what makes it special.
