Clean, Secluded yet Convenient to Town, Well Stocked Cabin in the Woods! Wi-fi!

Very quiet area near Townsend. Property well kept and we felt safe. Home is generally clean and welcoming with the exception of lighting. All rooms are dark with exception of bathrooms. WiFi was great and host was very polite and accessible. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. We enjoyed our stay with exception of the low lighting.

Nothing bad to say. Don’t change anything.

We have stayed in this cabin so many times that it feels like home. On this particular stay, we were under a winter storm warning and ice was predicted with potential power outages. Rob brought us extra firewood along with another blanket and salt for the steps. We did have some ice, not as bad as anticipated, but enough to keep us off the roads for a couple of days. Dawn checked on us during our stay to see how we were fairing after the storm. Luckily, we never lost power and all was well. We had been a little apprehensive about the weather, not knowing what to expect, but our hosts were always quick to respond to any questions we had and their attentiveness really helped to ease our concerns about the weather. Over the years, we have really come to love this cabin and definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to visit the Smokies but stay away from the noise and crowds that come with staying in Gatinburg or Pigeon Forge. We also noticed there had been a few updates to the cabin since our last stay. All good, except we sure did miss the clock that used to hang on the wall over the stove. Could we get that back? Lol.

The host was very personable, communicated well with us. The house was very inviting, comfortable and clean.

The host was kind and responsive! All of my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. The property was super quiet, which was amazing!

It was a great place. Quiet , surreal and very comfy. This cabin is well equipped with everything. If you want to go to a place to just unwind and watch the world go by this is the place for you. We needed to go somewhere to unwind before Christmas and it was perfect. We will becoming back soon. thank you

The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the peaceful location. The only thing i would recommend would be 2 Queen beds upstairs. I would also recommend a new mattress for downstairs bedroom.

well the house was too dark not near enough light in this house the toilet downstairs was so loud when flush woke everyone up we found dirty dishes in the cabinet had to wash them. But most of all we had to wash sheets and towels and dry them to me that is not a vacation when you have to clean up something that someone else is supposed to do when you leave parking was not good and I will not rent this cabin again it won't be on my list sorry just being honest it needs work especially for what we had to pay!!!!

Your place is very beautiful. It was very clean, well organized and close to town. I would highly recommend. Everything you need is here. Beautiful rocking chairs on porch and lovely eating area outside.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. However, needs brighter lighting. Kitchen needs more counter space. Maybe a small island would help. Easy to check in. I’m on oxygen so had some difficulty in walking the trail & steps up to the porch. Upstairs tub has drainage issues.

Beautiful home. Fully stocked with all kitchen items. Not far from main road, but felt secluded and private. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Back porch is covered. Nice to sit under while a light rain was falling.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! Everything was well maintained. There were extra pillows and blankets if needed. Loved sitting out on the front porch in the rocking chairs and listening to nature. There was a grill and charcoal if needed. The owner was very nice and ask how our we were doing and if we had any trouble finding the cabin. Highly recommend

Beautiful clean cabin surrounded by nature. Roomy and comfortable. Quiet area yet close to things to do.

We arrived at dusk and with good directions from the host found the cabin and checked in easily. The layout was just right for us and our two boys. All the essentials worked as they should. It was a comfortable stay, convenient to the west side of SMNP.

Cabin was perfect location for our weekend in Townsend to attend TN Winter Beer Fest. Directions and instructions for check-in made getting to property easy. Owner proactively called to ensure we arrived and answer any concerns we had.

The cabin itself and the location were great. I guess they had bought new living room furniture as it was different from the photos (no reclining chair, a biggie . The absolute worst was no internet. Which means NO tv. The upstairs bedroom had a tv with no cable connection and a small supply of old VHS tapes. The owners did try to fix it with no success. The internet provider couldn't come while we were there. The owners offered us 2 more days at no charge which we couldn't do. They then gave us a gift card as a token of good will

Thìs beautiful home was tucked way off the main road in Townsend, Tn. About a mile into the woods it was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. The home had all the amenties and if you like waking to peaceful quiet this is the place for you. Pet friendly. This 3 bedroom/2 bath home was perfect

Evergreen was exactly as described in the listing - a quiet cabin in the woods but still close to town. The property owners were great, welcoming and checked in to be sure all was as expected. Check in/out was a breeze. Would recommend!

What a beautiful cabin on a beautiful little piece of land. Cabin was clean and well stocked. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were here for our wedding and honeymoon and had a wonderful stay, it really could have not been more perfect!! Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay in this spacious, secluded home. The beds and pillows were soft and supportive. There were lots of places to sit, kitchen fully furnished and they provided the best toilet paper ever in a rental

Cabin was definitely more secluded, there are a couple cabins around but it’s in a wooded area so a lot of privacy. GPS will confuse you and we arrived at night in the dark but was able to find it via the directions provided but it was a little sketchy at first I think just because it was dark and a dead end at the bottom of a steep drive lol. We had a bear come up to the back porch which was pretty cool. Cabin was well stocked, it was pretty clean but a few things could have been improved like the jacuzzi tub appeared clean but after filling it up and turning the jets on there was a brown film on top of the water so I suggest cleaning out the jets more often and when we arrived and was looking around there was a cockroach in the bath tub but I only saw the one the whole time so I don’t think there’s a bug problem, and it seemed like an older cabin it had that old cabin smell masked by some plug ins that just didn’t mix well, other than that everything was great. I think location was the best thing about this cabin we normally stay around Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area but decided to stay in a quieter more secluded area for our 10 yr anniversary and we loved it. The park was nearby and driving through the mountains was lovely! A tv in the bedroom would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

Our stay was wonderful. We really enjoyed the cabin and the beds were so comfortable. We liked being in a cabin but close to Townsend and it was only a short drive into Pigeon Forge.

If you like privacy, peacefulness, solitude this is the place for you. The location of this property is what sold us. It’s literally in the woods! It does have neighbors but they are nicely spaced out. The cabin itself is a copy of others that we’ve rented but it’s very nice. It was very well equipped with everything someone would need to stay for a long period of time. It does have a wood burning fireplace which would be nice in the winter. The king size bed in the master slept very nicely. It was just a really nice place to stay for a week. It’s very close to Townsend which we really liked. Now I don’t want anyone to be alarmed about what I’m getting ready to say; the road that leads to this cabin is a single lane two way road and the gravel road down to the cabin is steep and could be intimidating to some but I LOVED IT! It’s kind of what we expect from a Tennessee road! We have an all wheel drive Santa Fe and we had no problem whatsoever. Someone said in another review that you need four wheel drive but you don’t! My daughter came to visit while we were there and she has a front wheel drive Santa Fe which did just fine. Like I said I love the thrill of a good Tennessee road and this one didn’t disappoint! As far as the host go, Robert and Dawn were WONDERFUL PEOPLE! We could have talked to them forever! They were at the property when we arrived cleaning from the tenants that were previously there. We talked to them at length! Great people they are!
