Classic Vintage Log Cabin on Lake Superior

The cabin was clean and cozy. The views were amazing. We had an opportunity to meet the owners they were extremely personable and friendly. They were very attentive and respectful of our privacy. All this made for the great experience and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet / tranquil vacation.

The cabin’s location is ideal. Right on the lake in a very quiet setting that lets you enjoy the beauty of the area. The cabin had fantastic views of the lake with a wall of windows facing the lake. Very nice bathroom and plenty of amenities like washer/dryer, sauna, and a large heat producing fireplace. Two Harbors was only minutes away and numerous hiking trails were within a short drive. Definitely a special place.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and welcoming and had everything we needed. It's in a beautiful location, right on Lake Superior and is easy to find. Host Sandra is prompt and generous.

Spectacular views, cozy cabin. Had everything we needed and more. Picture windows enabled us to enjoy the lake and wildlife even from the comfort of the indoors. Outdoor spaces were perfect and inviting. Loved every minute!

Perfect for the 4 of us! Three bedrooms. Right on Lake Superior. Deer romping in the yard. Lots of birds. Access to the lake; we like to walk on the rocks. Great hosts!

This is one of my favorite VRBO stays yet! The cabin was just right for us. The location is unbeatable - both because it's close to everything, and because the views are incredible. We spent a lot of time just staring at the lake from inside and from the outdoor seating. On the last night, we could even see a ship coming by that was going into Two Harbors. Sandy is a wonderful host, and was so good at communicating with us. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect location not too far from Duluth and a nice head start up the north shore for day trips. Spectacular private waterfront setting yet Two Harbors amenities are just minutes away. Sandy and Tim, you do a wonderful job maintaining your truly special property. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and far exceeded our expectations. Thanks for sharing it. We hope to visit again.

An amazing log cabin directly on Lake Superior. A quaint, quiet, private comfortable 3 bedroom one large bath. Sunrises, deer, flowers, birds and ore boats passing by. The stars were incredible. Sandy is the perfect host. You will enjoy every minute of your stay.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the Classic Vintage Log Cabin. The full moon shining into the living room was a nice treat. Bird watching and listening to all their songs was wonderful. And of course we love Lake Superior and watching the freighters.

This place is so amazing , the location is great the view is priceless and my family and i are going to make this place our yearly trip location !! Sandra is very nice and always responds quick very good communication. Very clean and has everything you need !!

We had an amazing & relaxing long weekend. The cabin was immaculate clean, comfortable, and right on the lake. It is just minutes from Two Harbors and close to State Parks. Lots of things to do in the area. Everything about this accommodation was top notch.

This is such a beautiful and tranquil property. Spent the weekend with my sister and disabled father (everything you need is on one floor).We absolutely loved our stay here- it was on a gorgeous inlet, with beautiful views for Lake Superior. House was extremely cozy with a lovely wood stove. Beds were comfortable and relaxing. We cooked several meals in the kitchen, which had everything we need.Would definitely stay again without question- already looking for dates to bring my kids when the weather is warmer!

Classic Vintage Log Cabin is perfect for us. We are hiking sections of the Superior Hiking Trail, and right now we are near Two Harbors, so the fact that this place is in Two Harbors, it is perfect. We need 3 bedrooms - again perfect. The hosts are great people!! Perfect. The weather this year couldn't have been any nicer. Perfect. Lake Superior was like glass one of the days - perfect! We love exploring the lakeshore, and there is much to explore - perfect. Even the Harris' Sparrows in the yard was a surprise! And we're already booked for next year. Perfect!!!

Exceeded our expectations on all counts. So quiet and beautiful. It felt like we were at our own lake cabin. Great location to head up the North Shore to explore and then return for a good sleep and start over again the next day.

This property and cabin had everything we wanted and needed. The ledge rock overlooking Lake Superior was spectacular. The cabin was spotless and had all we needed to cook, grill, and sit around the fire pit overlooking Lake Superior. It had vintage charm and lots of updated amenities. The location was private, yet close to town if we needed anything. Beds were comfy and loved listening to the lake. We certainly hope to return!!

What a place. If you're into Lake Superior, and quiet, this cannot be beat. I hesitate to review it, because it is getting difficult to book, ha ha!

Great cabin filled with home-like amenities and comfort inside and outdoors. The beautiful views of the lake and rocky shoreline are why we keep coming back to the lovely North Shore!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The scenery was beautiful and Sandra was great to work with. We stayed with family and visited a few parks in the area. We would definitely stay again at the cabin.
