Stayed Jun 28, 2025It's very close .. to everything.. it had fire pit.m plenty if wood.. just about everything I forgot.. it was the perfect get away it just needed a hot tub ?.. we had looked so hard for something this size.. everyone had their own space.. there were not tvs in every room but they did have games.. the little bears room was perfect for my nephews ?.. will be back.. also if you live over 30 min but within an hour book with them .. everyone has unwritten rules about renting to locals I live 58 min away.. so happy we came to vacasa

Stayed Oct 4, 2024The Black Bear Haus cabin is conveniently located to so many attractions in and near Helen. Our grandson and us really enjoyed all the games and videos available at the cabin to keep us entertained. I just wish I was better at starting camp fires, so we could have enjoyed the fire pit. Overall it was a beautiful cabin and very clean.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024Our family had a wonderful time at Black Bear Haus. The cabin was the right size for the 6 of us. Super clean and comfortable home and it's proximity to downtown Helen is great. It's a wonderful place for a family to stay for a vacation in the mountains.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our group had a wonderful stay. The cabin is situated in the perfect location. It was very clean when we arrived and had all of the amenities we could ask for. Stocked with pots, pans and utensils. There were board games and movies for us to enjoy. We had a great time roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The Black Bear Haus will definitely be our go to spot for our future trips to the area!!
