Stayed Mar 30, 2026Very cute little cabin! Very clean. Washer and dryer are in the unit and free. Bottom level is cold on bear feet and the fridge is smaller but doable.

Stayed Mar 18, 2026Cabin was beautiful. Steep hill down to the cabin. Private. Cozy. Great back porches upstairs and downstairs. Concrete floor downstairs was cold. Small rugs by bed were nice. Needed a small rug in bath when getting out of shower. Bed was small for two people, felt like a double. And wrought iron headboard kind of hard to lean against with pillows. Nice to have TP and paper towels, etc. The refrigerator was smaller than hoped for. Dorm size fridge, no ice trays. Staying for several days made it tough to have more groceries needing to be cold. Cheshire Village is absolutely beautiful. You can hear cars driving by which was unexpected, but ok. The walking trails were beautiful. Property was wonderfully located within minutes of downtown Black Mountain.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025Cabin needs to update the decorand furniture. Bedroom is in the lower part of the house was musky. Pathway light were not working and hard to see at night without a flashlight. Location is nice and close to the town and Asheville.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Secluded spot in the woods! Perfect location just outside of downtown Black Mountain- this was a great place to land for Independence Day weekend. There was plenty of room for us (2 adults and one 13yo). Well equipped and Close to everything we needed, and nice porch to relax on and wonder. The trail to get to it could be a challenge for anyone with walking difficulty but definitely a great place for relaxing!

Stayed May 25, 2025The cabin is very cozy, peaceful and nice. The bedroom was cold at night and the concrete floor made it more colder, so make sure you bring a slipper to wear around. The alarm system went off a couple time which was terrifying to say the least. The bed is a little uncomfortable specially it made a lot of creaking whenever to toss and turn. I think they need a new bed frame or new bed for sure. I was looking forward to hike and walk around lake tomahawk but the rain kinda prevented me from going but it’s was a nice distraction because the rain made everything so calm and extra peaceful and I didn’t mind being locked in. Just bring some extra food and basic condiments.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024Such a great cabin and better than expected!! Loved the location so close to downtown also! The walk to the cabin was steep, but was expected based on the listing. We will definitely stay here again!
