Cherry Lake Lodge w/ Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Game Room

The cabin is the perfect blend for relaxation and adventure. Within 45 min or less you have access to hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding lazy river tubing, zip line and excellent resturaunts. We logged miles each day and came back to the awesome hottub. The kitchen was fully prepped if you prefer to cook on your own but you can take a short drive into Blueridge for excellent venues. Our host gave us several options and recommendations to visit and eat. Each one was excellent. Tagging this one for a return trip!

This cabin was amazing!! We had 4 teenagers between 13 and 17 and they were never bored. We loved all the lake toys and floats. Hot tub was great. Everything was clean and up to date.

This home was absolutely amazing. Every aspect of this home was stunning. Check in was simple and everything we needed was there. Did I mention this home and view were beautiful. This home is definitely a must stay.

We went for family time and relaxation. This cabin was perfect for both. It was also convenient for those in our party that wanted to visit the shops or go out to explore the fall colors

Cherry Creek was a beautiful cabin. The access to the kayak, canoe, and paddle board was a great amenity. We had a great time fishing from the dock and roasting s’mores over the fire pit. The beds were comfy and the games and books in the basement kept our little ones occupied when we weren’t outside. There needs to be a little maintenance done to the deck as there was a post missing and the railing wasn’t as secure as I would have liked. Other than that, it was a great place and we will return.

Came up for an anniversary trip and brought a few of the Grandkids .We had a wonderful stay everything was great beautiful house and property very relaxing and comfortable with amazing views! The whole family had a fantastic time!

We loved staying at Cherry Lake Lodge. The home was peefrct — clean and well-stocked with so much to do without going back down the hill. It felt tucked away but was still very close to town. The host was super communicative and responsive. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Cherry Lake Lodge. The drive up to the property is a little treacherous but otherwise everything was pretty near perfect!

We took our annual family vacation here and there were activities to please all ages. Immaculate lakefront home with canoes & paddleboards to enjoy.... perfect for a family stay!

The property and house were amazing! Rebecca was awesome and super attentive! They had everything we needed for a perfect stay! The lake and toys, jacuzzi, hiking trail, the rooms, all made our family time so special. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this Cherry Lake Lodge and we will 100% be coming back a few more times in the near future. It had everything we could have ever wanted and we never wanted to leave. The beds were comfortable and we had enough space to spread out and relax with our group of 8. We absolutely loved the paddle boards, kayaks, floats, fishing poles and canoes provided. We had so much fun in the lake most of the day and we would relax at the dock and fish with the kids at night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We did have go out and get dish soap since there wasn't any but everything else was well stocked from trash bags to toilet paper and paper towels. We thought we would go out and explore BlueRidge but we were so comfy at this cabin that we never left. There is the Benton Mackay Trail steps away from the cabin to explore which we loved. We also loved both the large back porch and the indoor hot tub area connected to it. The kids also really enjoyed the air hockey and foosball table downstairs. We cannot wait to come back here and get away. It is like a slice of heaven a quick drive away from home! The cabin is easy to get to with a standard car or SUV and we were able to get in with the keypad entry. The neighbors around were very friendly and the cabin hosts were very proactive and quick to respond to questions. We cannot wait to come back and stay again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very spacious and clean. So much to do, you don't really need to leave. We had an amazing time fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, playing games, bonfires, and the hot tub was perfect after a morning hike on Fall Branch Falls. It was a perfect little getaway!

The pictures don't do this place justice. The property was absolutely gorgeous and the lake was perfectly serene! I hope to stay again in the future and highly recommend a stay here for others staying in the area.

As soon as we walked through the door we were impressed.This home was so beautifully appointed and well laid out.Hosts had a very well organized binder to help us navigate the home as well as the surrounding area.We were equally in love with the inside as well as the outside. Beautiful view from all levels.We can’t say enough good things about this cabin. We felt so at home and relaxed. If you are considering this cabin…do it!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

We visited Blue Ridge with our parents and kiddos and loved staying at Cherry Lake Lodge. The adults especially enjoyed spending time on the deck which overlooks the lake and all enjoyed lake activities. This home has it all; canoe, paddle boards, a kayak, fishing gear, tons of board games, and air hockey and foosball. We also enjoyed smores by the firepit (supplied by host). Everything is labeled in home making it easy to find what you need. Really loved that the coffee pot had a regular pot and k-cup option. Also, the home is just minutes from town. Sarah was especially kind and super responsive and welcoming. Her and Rebecca (property manager) went way above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. We are so appreciative and highly recommend this property!

The property is located on a quiet lake, the hot tub has a great view of the lake and is so relaxing. The kitchen had everything you needed and there was plenty of space for everyone. The fishing was great. Plenty of wildlife to see. Close to stores if you forgot anything. The property owner was an absolute joy and so helpful. We can't wait to go back!!

We had an great time despite some stormy weather. It is definitely a testament to the property that our kids never got bored! The house is beautiful and very well stocked. I really appreciated that i didnt have to run the dishwasher after every meal since there were plenty of dishes. The outdoor lake toys were great - easy to locate and navigate for our family that doesnt know much about kayaking, etc. Also fantastic communication before check in so no issues on arrival. Overall, a really excellent experience. My only constructive feedback is that is gets REALLY cold on the bottom level. The space heater made it tolerable for our kids to sleep downstairs, but I would have packed warmer pajamas had I known. Also, the grill was very dirty - obviously hadnt been cleaned after usage. We decided not to use it because it would have taken a long time to clean. There were also a couple pans that were unusable in my opinion - bottom coating peeling off in large chunks. There was enough other cookware to work around, but probably need to be replaced.
