Cherokee Ridge 6 - The Perfect Little Pet Friendly Getaway

Overall, we had a great stay. The cabin was all that we needed for cooking some simple meals and relaxing after a day of hiking in Unicoi or exploring Helen. There was an issue with the hot tub, but the porch was still a great place to sit and enjoy the sounds of the forest.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was cozy, clean, and large enough for the two of us and our dogs. The hot tub was a nice relaxing experience and it was private enough to allow us to unwind. We had a great stay.The property management company was very attentive also.

We had a great visit. We were able to bring pets. They even left pet treats for our dog. The directions were perfect. The kitchenware and stuff stocked in the kitchen was completely sufficient for what we needed. Be careful not to fall asleep in the hot tub you might come back really really relaxed. Will definitely go there again.

We rented this particular cabin because of its location and amenities( fire pit, hot tub). We did run into a few problems, the fire pit and grill had no propane and the main heating unit didn’t work so my wife was coldIn the middle of the night. A technician came to look at the heater but never was able to fix but he did bring some propane for pit and grill. We were committed to not let anything bring us down and I think we accomplished that.

Our dog feels safe and comfortable here, and we especially love that the wraparound porch is gated, allowing her to relax outside with us off-leash —that alone makes this place extra special.I was thrilled to arrive and see that the Christmas tree and decorations were still up. I had to take mine down early to prepare for this trip, so being able to bask in the soft glow of the lights was such a joy and instantly put me at ease. The electric fireplace adds the perfect touch—so cozy and relaxing after a long day.We love spending our days hiking, then coming back to grill dinner and unwind in the hot tub at night. The atmosphere here is peaceful, comfortable, and exactly what we look for when we want to slow down and enjoy life.We truly love this place and will definitely be back.

The stay was amazing. The cabin was sufficient for what we needed it for. It’s not the Taj Mahal but it’s what was I expected. The closeness to Anna Ruby Falls and Helen is great. We were here for a Family reunion and Oktoberfest in Helen. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was our respite from the others. Lol

Property was really in a nice location tucked away in the woods very private, but close enough to enjoy everything around without far of a drive

It was a peaceful getaway with my husband, the cabin is located outside of town so it was nice to be away from everything. The cabin was as described, the porch was nice to sit on while it rained.We only had a couple of negatives, the limbs need to be trimmed coming into the cabin, they scrap down the side of our truck and maybe some extra cleaning supplies, we were there for a week and going in and out of the cabin i wanted to clean the floors but didnt want to buy extras that I didnt need.We would stay again.

Wonderful property. Quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was amazing. The bed was a little too hard for our likening. Over all a wonderful trip.

The outside left a lot. a nasty gravel road with big bushes on all sides. the other rental neighbors did not keep their pets on a leash and they chased the cars and barked constantly when we walked our dog. not the best rental experience.

The cabin was clean, quiet, cute, and close to many activities! The bed was huge and comfortable! The hot tub and firepit were really enjoyable. I loved the porch that was enclosed and wrapped around the cabin. I would stay here again!

This has been my third time staying at this property. I like it because it has what you need and is in a great location. Some minor issues that bothered me were that the hot water in the shower doesn't last long enough and the shower head should be replaced with something that doesn't dump all the water out at once. I was not a fan of the new electric fireplace. It does not seem to put out enough heat. Other than that, I would stay here again. Communication with property management was good as always.

This was the perfect getaway for our “mini” honeymoon! The cabin was beautiful, quaint, and cozy. A very short and easy drive to Helen and perfectly secluded for privacy and comfort!

We booked this cabin because of the proximity to Helen as we were there for the Oktoberfest. Cabin is exceptionally clean. Well maintained and in great location. Tucked away in the wooded area only a few miles from Helen. Has everything you might need to for a short stay. Bed is very comfortable. Internet and tv services were excellent. Very quiet and private enough we could enjoy the hot tub without worry. Communication with the host is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

I have been there, and done that.In the first 24 hours after arriving, I was smiling so much, it began to frightened the wife! Their attention to detail impressive! As was the King size bed provided!A marvelously hot, high pressured shower! Even the A.C. (I always check the filter) worked like a charm!Negatives?The access road requires a bit of navigation, and their choice in dish water detergent needs to be re-evaluated. Lastly, the lighter provided for the BBQ grill passed away on the third day. That's it! In a nutshell..... if this place was for sale, I'd buy it!

Everything was smooth and easy from booking, and check in/out. The location is perfect. Its nestled quietly in a wooded area, but still close to town and outside adventures. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a quiet getaway. Outside had a lovely hottub with privacy. Inside had the coolest denim oversized loveseat next to an old school pacman game. The tv/couch was perfect for snuggling up. The kitchen was wonderful to prepare meals together. I loved this place so much, we plan to revisit in the fall!
