PERFECT CABIN AND LOCATION FOR SECLUDED GETAWAY FOR TWO OR A LARGE FAMILY OR GROUP TO ENJOY TIME TOGETHER, ENJOY FALL COLORS ALL AROUND THE CABIN, HIKE RIGHT FROM BACK YARD, WALK TO TOWN OF GLACIER.

The cabin is owned and loved by a family that has been part of the Mount Baker Ski Resort history for four generations.
They are excited to share this beautiful cabin with guests that they know will enjoy the location and well kept cabin. In 2023, we did a remodel with a new gorgous loft and dining nook allowing for great use of space with guests and families.

THE MAIN CABIN~
The cabin can easily sleep up to 8 guests.
As you enter the cabin through the covered front porch, you will walk into the welcoming
open concert, vaulted ceiling lower level part of this beautiful cabin with a new partial open loft over the kitchen.
The living area is off to the right and the kitchen and dining area are off to the left.
You will enjoy being together as a group while making meals, playing games and cards or watching a movie.
The living area has a nice gas stove for those chiller evenings or snowy afternoons....and you can plan on plenty of beautiful snowy days at this cabin.
The kitchen is new and well equipped with the tools that you will need to enjoy all of your meals at the cabin.
The dining area seats 8 guests and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter.
The Master bedroom is located on the lower level and has a comfortable king bed. Linen is provided.
There is also a queen murphy bed in the living room.
The main and only large bathroom is a full bath with shower. Towels are provided. The bathroom is located on the lower level next to the Master bedroom.
There is also a full laundry room ready to get those wet clothes dry.
Wander up the stairs to the enclosed loft bedroom with plenty of windows and light..another great place to enjoy the woodsy setting and snow falling in the winter.
The loft is equipped with twin bunk beds and a queen murphy bed.
There are also mats for spreading out with sleeping bags.
The loft upstairs has plenty of room for yoga, board games or just spreading out some gear to dry.
(PLEASE NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE LOFT)

THE ADORABLE SLEEPING CABIN~
Wait until you see this cute place, located about 50 yards from the main cabin.
Everyone is going to want to stay in it with such unique charm.
The cabin is filled with light and a great place to be when you want to get up early in the morning for a hike or retreat after a long day of skiing and enjoy watching the snow fall past the large windows.
Queen bed & futon bed on the lower level, nice chairs to get comfy, read a book and plenty of warmth from the little fireplace heater.
The loft is a great place to spread out with mats and sleeping bags. (bring your own sleeping bags)
Bedding is provided for the queen bed and double futon in the little cabin.
The little cabin is a great place for sleeping and getting away, but will need to use the bathroom in the main cabin.

PROPERTY~
As you enter the property, you will arrive to both of the cabins via a nice gravel driveway..serene and private, but 1 minute walk into Glacier for coffee, drink etc.
There is plenty of parking for a couple of cars.
The cabin has an outdoor wood fire pit to enjoy evenings outside (Please watch the local burn bans in the summer).
There is a large gas BBQ grill on the side of the cabin, we ask that you bring gas tanks for the grill or ask ahead of time and we can add this for a $25 fee if requested.
WiFi is available to all guests and given on arrival.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION~
Glacier is the community closest to Mt. Baker (northernmost of the Cascade volcanoes), is within 10 air miles of Mt. Baker's summit and a 25-mile drive to the Mt. Baker Ski Area with awe-inspiring views of Mount Shuksan, one of the most photographed mountains in the world. It consists of a number of thriving businesses - including coffee shops, ski and snowboard shops, restaurants, a small grocery store, and a design company. Would definitely stay again . Great location just off the highway. Owner was very responsive to communication. Residence was very clean and well equipped . Took a little time to figure out how to turn everything on and off but not too bad. No garbage service, so we packed out garbage and recycle at owners request.

The house was generally as advertised, and in a good spot in Glacier. More rules and check-in procedures than I am used to, and while it does sleep the number of persons stated, there is no privacy for anyone other than one bedroom with a door. The other sleeping arrangements are a loft open to the living room (where there is a Murphy bed) and the sleeping quarters hut. If you are that comfortable with all your friends and keeping the same hours, might be a good option. My last note is it says it has a dining area for 4-6 and bar stools, but there is no dining table if you intend to eat a family meal.

We all had a great time Kirstin. Thank you for sharing your fabulous little mountain cabin. The location was perfect, in town next to the bakery and a magical little commute up to Mount Baker Ski Area. I hope to be back soon again but next time with my beautiful wife who unfortunately had to stay home for work. Torsten

We stayed in these 2 cabins for a long weekend with our family. It was great to be able to spread out, lots of places for everyone to sleep. It was nice being right in Glacier, and it is so close too many wonderful hikes and the river. It was great to get away, disconnect and enjoy the great outdoors. We would definitely recommend this place to stay!

We loved our stay in this two cabin rental. We had 14 people and had plenty of room to stay between the two cabins. It is more private than the gated communities which is nice. And a walk to the bakery in the AM was perfect! We highly recommend this stay.
