The house and the outdoor spaces were great, we look forward to coming back next year, no return response for questions for the property manager.

Phenomenal location; if you are looking for a remote, peaceful setting this is it. My husband and I, along with our dog took this trip after a very long, hard year of cancer treatments and it was so healing to just sit on the rockers on the porch, listening to the Chauga river. There was a sparrow who made a nest under the porch and we watched her hunt worms to feed her babies. Cabin has a rustic feel, exactly what we were looking for. Ver private. We went on several hikes at local waterfalls all within a 30 min drive. Highly recommended Brasstown Falls. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is because of 2 things; getting in the door was difficult, I didn't receive any specific instructions and I emailed the property contact to ask a couple questions days before we arrived and never received a reply. So communication wasn't great, but I would definitely come back to this cabin. Also, be prepared to bring food to cook because if you're looking to eat all your meals out you will have to drive to Seneca. The closest town, Walhalla, had very few options and most were not even open while we were there.

This property is in a very quiet area along the Chauga river. Sitting on the porch in a rocker listening to the water running over small rapids is extremely relaxing. The house was everything we expected and more. Well supplied for cooking indoors or outside. Fire pits on the patio and at the riverside sitting are nice, unfortunately a burning ban stopped us from using them but I’m sure that won’t happen often. The host was great and provided all necessary info prior to our arrival. Read the welcome book as it provides info on anything relating to the house. I hope to be able to get back to this place in the future.

We had a wonderful time here! The cabin was well furnished and nice and clean! Plenty of space and rooms to sleep for our family of 7. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, showers/tubs spotless, and plenty of extra towels and linens. We loved the open yard with space for the kids to play safely outside, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace each night! Great location too. Nice and tucked away for peace and quiet, but only 12 minutes from the nearest shopping center for groceries, gas, food, etc. And within driving distance from so many great hikes- we did yellow branch falls, Talulah gorge, and upper whitewater falls and would highly recommend all of them. We would definitely stay here again!!

We enjoyed this cabin very much, I will say the layout is a bit unusual, the outdoor space more than made up it. While nothing is too close, nothing is very far either. We could get to most places we wanted to go within a hour, Franklin, Highlands, Anderson. The river behind was wonderful, we spent most of our time playing in it. We are very used to bringing all our own supplies, but the house was very well stocked with anything you could need as well as an array of spices, food and cooking supplies which was unexpected but very appreciated to avoid a trip to the store. The barn was stocked with so much fun stuff we didn’t even get a chance to use. The extras were great!
