Charming Up the Hill Cabin with spectacular views

Great little cabin overlooking Homer. The views are spectacular! Hosts were so kind and responsive.

A very nice place to stay at in Homer.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The views were absolutely fantastic—high on the hill overlooking the Homer Spit and the airport, with nothing blocking the scenery. It was easy to get to from town, and the property itself was a quaint, cozy little place.The cabin was very clean upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the owner was friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment, making it convenient for meals, and the heater kept the space warm and comfortable.As mentioned in the listing, the stairs are steep, but we expected that and had no issues. The loft area does have low ceilings, so taller guests should keep that in mind.Overall, this was a great stay at a fair price. We would happily return and recommend it to others looking for a peaceful spot with amazing views.

Great location and view. Just note the bed is upstairs with a steep staircase and the bathroom is downstairs.

Spectacular view! You can see two glaciers from the front porch! It was a beautiful place to stay!

The view is spectacular! The kitchen is well stocked with items left behind by others, I suspect. We had no trouble preparing a meal that we enjoyed on the deck. The stairs to the loft are so much better than a ladder would be but still tricky for old stiff knees and ankles. This is a great rustic cabin.

The cabin was clean, well equipped and everything it was advertised to be. The hosts were very accommodating, allowing us to arrive early. The view was fantastic, and it was a short drive to town. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

What a cute place! Very comfortable and a really beautiful view of Homer! Enjoyed sitting on the deck with a glass of wine overlooking the bay and the mountains!

The view of the Greningk Glacier and Kenai mts was spectacular and the place was charming and had all we needed (including 4 cans of bear spray!). Loved sitting on the deck and proximity to The Spit.The street appeal could be taken up a notch (plywood underneath is first thing you see). And the loft ceiling is pretty low. Otherwise lovely!

The view from the cabin was outstanding. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a convenient drive to the Homer Spit. Debbie provided some guide books for the area. We had a wonderful time. Sue

The view is amazing. Place was clean and well stocked for our needs. Property manager was available and helpful. Would recommend staying here. Only issue was low ceilings over the bed, mind your head.

The property has an amazing view of the mountains across the bay, and is a very cozy place. However, there was no warning about the steepness of the steps, both inside and outside and, most importantly, the difficulty of actually getting into bed. The roof upstairs (where the bed is) is raked so steeply that you have to hunch over around the edge of the bed to access it. Even then it is easy to hit one’s head . To use the bathroom at night you have to negotiate very steep and narrow steps Otherwise , a delightful small cabin.

This cabin was perfect! The location and view is incredible. Since I am obsessed with moose, I loved how close they came to the cabin. Our host was readily available if needed. We loved our stay!

Nice place with great views

The view from the cabin was outstanding! The cabin was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. It is accurately described. We especially enjoyed the moose that we saw at the end of the road. Homer is awesome!

If you want a small reasonably priced place to stay with excellent views this is your spot!

cabin was very clean and had everything you need. The view was amazing! Almost daily moose strolling by yard or sleeping around cabin. Easy access to everything Homer has to offer. I could easily live there permanently. Host brought me fresh eggs from her chickens. Absolutely Wonnderful!

The deck and stairs should be improved to make it safer. I would not recommend it for little children.

Peaceful and beautiful, close to town, yet has the country feel! Has one of the best views of the spit and bay.
