We loved the cabin and the feeling of peace this property gave us. What a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the Ozarks.

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend trip and it was much more spacious than we thought! We especially enjoyed the outdoor space since the weather was good. We had some issues with the door code but Greg was very responsive and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked and made for staying in and cooking all our meals very easy. Would stay here again!

Overall was a pleasant stay. The view was nice and was fun seeing some animals. The inside of house was clean but the exterior needs some attention. Lots of cob webs and the yard was left looking as if unattended. Tried to sit on porch but tons of wasps kept swarming in. Would consider staying again next time in town.

Very nice location and view. it is in the sticks if that is what you’re looking for! Inside was clean and neat, outside had spider and wasp issues everywhere to the point we had to keep the kids inside. Overall a very nice cabin just needs a little outside tlc to be kid friendly

Our family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights for Easter 2025 and would gladly return. This property feels wonderfully remote—quiet, peaceful, and secluded. During our entire stay, we didn’t see or hear a single other person or vehicle.Communication with the property manager was excellent both before and during our visit. Every question we had was answered quickly and helpfully.A few notes for future travelers:- We were happy to find a washer and dryer on-site, though we hadn’t seen that mentioned in the listing.- There was also a propane grill available, but I recommend confirming with the manager about the propane supply.- What caught us by surprise (compared to other rentals) was the limited supply of trash bags and dishwasher pods—something to plan for if you're staying multiple nights. The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped for our group of six, and the home overall was a perfect fit for a relaxing getaway. We hope to return.

This was a great home base for our Buffalo River adventures. We only stayed two nights, but it was comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedroom is enormous! We love relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, and even used the fire pit to cook hot dogs for dinner. The kitchen was very well stocked (we could have used a pair a scissors, though!). We had 9 people stay here— 4 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 kids. I think our favorite parts were the beautiful and peaceful views and the large gathering room the just hang out.

We only wish we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit roasting hotdogs and marshmallows while the kids explored the yard (for hours!). The hot tub was great while enjoying the beautiful view. Close access to lots of fun places. Nice and clean and great communication.

Such a beautiful area! It’s challenging to drive and not look out at all of the beautiful views! This cabin is very nice! Each morning we enjoyed the hot tub located at the dawn side of the cabin. We only used the one bedroom nearest the bathroom but the mattress was very comfortable. We had excellent and immediate communication with the owner. The cabin was very clean and nicely secluded from the road and nearby homes. This cabin is centrally situated near (within 30 minutes) of several hiking trails which was the purpose of this trip. If you want Ozarks this cabin will supply!

The place is very clean, comfy and secluded. The hot tub was great to jump in after hiking trails all day. The area is beautiful with lots of adventurous things to do. The little town of Jasper is just down the road about 15 minutes with a grocery store and a few restaurants. We ate at the Ozark Cafe and it was good food. Woke up on our last morning and had 3 tom turkeys strutting in the front yard. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cabin set back into the woods with great views in the heart of the Buffalo River area. We felt right at home. Good outdoor sitting for enjoying the neighbor’s cows in the field, beautiful sunsets & stars. We did a lot of cooking of meals in the home, kitchen was fairly well stocked. There were a few minor maintenance issues needing to be addressed & was missing a few items that would have been helpful to have (ex: can opener). But that’s minor stuff, overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Bear Creek Cabin was a fabulous! My husband and I, along with 2 of my siblings and their spouses, enjoyed the beautiful fall leaves, the magnificent elk, the melodious songbirds, and warm fires in this spacious cabin. The rooms were nice, the gathering area cozy, and the view beautiful. And when we woke to a non-functional coffee pot, the manager had us one delivered ASAP! Highly recommend this gem in the woods.

Stayed here as a way to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday with 2 other couples the 3rd weekend of Oct. The cabin and location was perfect for us. The cabin was beautiful and tucked away in a secluded area that was just as beautiful; especially with all the fall colors. Even though the cabin is secluded it is still close to lots of trails and beautiful drives. We would go out hiking in the morning and return in the afternoon to finish off our days relaxing on the cabin deck with some drinks, grilling dinner, and capping off the evening relaxing in the hot tub. It was perfect for our whole group and when leaving could not decide if the amazing beautiful trails and scenery we encountered on our hikes was what we enjoyed the most or just chilling afterwards at this awesome cabin/property. We decided it was a tie! :) Also the property owner had great communication with me even though cell service for me was very spotty while out on the trails and often my texts would not get back to him much later than when received. However he was still very accommodating. There was a water main break in the area and he contacted us right away about it and even delivered 2 cases of bottled water that was waiting outside the cabin door for us when we returned from our hike! Now that is top-notch service! We would definitely stay at this property again. In fact I extremely hope I get the chance to stay here again!

We were very pleased with the cabin. The main reason we chose this VRBO was because it had 3 king beds which were very comfortable, especially because we had some pretty tall guys with us. We enjoyed the deck and sat out there every evening watching the cows jump in the pond across the way as the sun went down. We traveled via motorcycle from central Minnesota to enjoy a few days in the Ozark mountains and the riding was incredible. I will say... the driveway is a little steep and gravely (we nicknamed it the gauntlet) but once we drove it a couple of times it wasn't so bad and actually just kept us on our toes. SUPER nice to be able to park the bikes in the garage, especially because we got rained on one night. The only thing that was kind of a nuisance was the double doors to the deck would not open, the electric lock mechanism would not unlock but that's an easy fix. Maybe a suggestion- add a mirror or two that aren't in the bathrooms so us ladies can put on our faces without taking up bathroom space. All in all we really enjoyed the cabin and would recommend it to anyone! If we ever make it back down to Arkansas we will book this one again, not just for the cabin but also because the people in Jasper were super friendly and booking was a breeze. So thanks so much!
