Stayed Nov 14, 2025It was pet friendly but it wasn’t what I expected. Have stayed at other places in mountain Rest and was highly impressed, but this is more like an old fishing place. No closets for your clothes. Windows were nasty, couldn’t open. Fireplace didn’t work. Some remotes didn’t have batteries. Had to climb on bed to turn ceiling fan on. Never did get volume up on tv. Will not stay there again. Rachel very nice though. Enjoyed sitting on dock.

Stayed Oct 24, 2025I enjoyed staying at this property! Very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean! Beds were very comfortable! I’m going to miss drinking my morning coffee by the lake. We traveled from Florida for the fall foliage and to drive the Georgia Traverse trail which starts not too far from the home. We also visited Stumphouse Tunnel and the falls which is a short drive away. I would stay again!
