We throughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Rus. The accommodations were great and the area was beautiful. The hosts of the Chalet were very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We will definitely return for another stay.
Great place to visit and stay, very clean and well presented, everything you could possibly want provided in the chalet, a great short break and Karl was a great host.
We absolutely adored our stay, it's a truly beautiful cabin with everything you need on hand. It's all about the cozy feel indoors and is deceptively spacious. You cannot dispute the views, even the weather was behaving! We can't wait to book again and the only thing we'd do differently is to stay longer. Thank you Karl for being a great host.
We had a very nice stay in Fort William! Everything was ok, also a very good location for kids. Our kids enjoyed the secret room :) PERFECT!!!!!
Nice chalet, good views, good location.
This is a fabulous property, clean, well equipped kitchen, and great communication from the owner. Our family of 4 loves this chalet. We would recommend this property to family and friends.
My husband and I had a wonderful time. It was our first trip to Scotland. After being in several cities this Chalet was a relaxing place. The host is very knowledgeable and keeps the place in great shape, clean with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the busy tourist attractions this Chalet is the perfect location. It is a fantastic hub for day trips to Mallaig and Glencoe.
This was a great spot for two couples who are interested in a base for exploring the hills and lochs around Fort William that is off the usual tourist path. We especially liked grilling our own dinners on the outdoor grill.
We had a great time staying at the chalet. It was clean, cozy, and supplied with many kitchen items that we found handy for meal prep. There was also a washing machine which was great for us. The location is far enough away from the crowds so you can feel relaxed and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature around you. Yet, you’re about 30 minutes from Fort William so it’s super convenient for day trips and to get supplies. Karl was super easy to work with he explained how to use the various items around the cabin. We can’t express more how much we enjoyed our stay here. It was fantastic and our favorite home away from home on our journeys through Scotland.
Absolutely beautiful log cabin and amazing host. From the authenticity of the cabin, to the comprehensive furnishings, to the comfort of the lodging, to the fireplace and modern conveniences, topped off with the personal communication and welcome from Karl, the superb host, our stay here was beyond what we could hope for.
What a lovely spot, beautiful cabin with amazing views. There was also home baked goodies left at check in. We felt very pampered and would highly recommend this property!!
Lovely spot with beautiful sunsets from the deck. Enjoyed our stay and the surrounding nature - couldn’t ask for a more relaxing atmosphere!
