Central AC in main Cabin... Stay cool, my friends!

A perfect place for our family! Great for our grandmother with no stairs for her. She was able to have access to the bedroom, restroom, kitchen and the living room. Our two children had their own place in the loft with their own restroom with their own tv, they loved their privacy. They also had a fun game room with games including Pac-Man, foos ball and chess/checkers. We also had great grilled steak dinners. We had great communication with the host. He promptly answered all our questions and gave recommendations. It’s almost like he thought of everything.

Host was great and responsive to questions I had. Extremely helpful! Property was great and everyone in our party was comfortable and had a fantastic time!

This was our second stay in Chris’s home, and again, it was amazing! 4 minute drive to Snow Summit, kitchen ready for prepping easy homemade meals, plenty of room for our family of 6, and the game room is AWESOME! Highly recommend- it’s the only place we’ll stay for our quick ski trips! Chris is also a super friendly, responsive host! Just book it!

Chris was wonderful and quick to answer questions. His home had everything that our family needed. The beds were very comfortable and the house was exceptionally clean.

The cabin was very welcoming and warm. We enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers and it worked very well.

Our church used this cabin for our 3 pastors that were attending our annual men's retreat. It was very accommodating. Plenty of space, house was very clean and well furnished.Chris was an exceptional host making sure everything went well. (Thanks Chris)We would definitely book this cabin again.

The game table in the game room didn’t work and small things like lack of paper towels were not ideal. The rest of our stay was great.

The overall rating would've been five stars, but upon arrival in the late evening, we discovered the TV and video game in the game room wasn't working, which was a disappointment to the teens in the group. The host was very responsive and helpful and we eventually figured it out the next afternoon, but it would've been nice for the cabin to be fully functional from the get go.Other than that, it was a nice, cozy stay and everyone was comfortable with the beds, the central heating and amenities. The host was communicative leading up to and during our stay.On a side note, know that it is a steep driveway to the house and while we didn't experience any issues driving up and down it, it's just a nice to know.Enjoy your stay!

The property was amazing. Not far at all from the village and grocery stores. We managed to hike at a couple locations nearby. The place was perfect for all of us and the kids loved it. Would definitely stay again in the future!

The cabin was spotless and had so many amenities. We spent Thanksgiving there and used the pans and serving dishes to make a beautiful dinner. The stove and microwave worked perfectly! Chris was a very patient host with all my questions and even offered suggestions on nearby things to do. The highlight of the stay was the loft and game room. My 3 boys actually talked to each other and hung out there the whole trip. They were just having so much fun in their own little space. They hooked up their Nintendo Switch and played games together. We also enjoyed the darts, arcade table, chess table, shuffle board, and we brought our own card games and mancala. There is so much to do around the cabin. We walked up the road to a little hiking trail nearby. You could even walk down the road for food. It's a short drive to the village and lake. We drove to another hiking trail by the lake and enjoyed the beautiful views! There was plenty of places in town to eat and get treats. Snow Summit is so close, and my son has been asking to ski. We took Chris’s suggestion and took a ski lesson, and he had a blast! We really enjoyed hanging at the cabin surrounded by all the pine trees. It was the perfect base for our outings.

Cute little place in Big Bear with room for the family to spread out. Loft for the kids and game room is good for entertainment The place is clean but blinds are a bit dusty and could use some body wash and shampoo in the showers so we don’t have to run out and buy that as soon as we arrive. Minor details We will rent again next time we’re in Big Bear for sure.
