The grill was a little dirty and didnt get too hot. Overall good experience.

What a beautiful property! Exactly what we needed. Cool layout, loved the deck and the open living room. Also enjoyed the library. I wish we could have stayed longer it was a wonderful place to get away! We will definitely book here again!

Clean rooms, no outside lights, only 1 table & 2 chairs were outside. Must be quiet & inside by 10pm for quiet time. Strict with amount of people staying.

Place was amazing! It really feels like you’re away from the city, but everything is still close by. We even got to see wildlife deer and horses. My only regret is not booking a longer stay. I’d definitely come back.

The cabin was cozy. Location was nice and fireplace was amazing!The cabin had cobwebs and spiders behind all the beds, cieling beams and some corners. The appliances and kitchen pots/pans are EXTREMELY outdated. The cabin would most definitely benefit from some updating (paint, carpet replacement, rugs). Nice and cozy but could be spectacular with some TLC!

The cabin was lovely. It was a great relaxing few days. There were some areas that were not cleaned well and the mattresses in the two smaller bedrooms were pretty rough. Also the patio furniture was not usable as there were no cushions. But those weee small compared to the beautiful peaceful appeal of the cabin

It was a very relaxing stay. Kitchen was fully furnished so we were able to cook all of our meals.

Absolutely beautiful cabin! Quiet neighborhood. There was a herd of wild horses with several babies that frequented right in front of the house! We had some elk visitors in the back. The windows in the living area as well as the deck was really amazing to view and relax. We also really loved the hot tub despite the summer heat. Will definitely be back!

Great location in a wooded area means it was quiet with a nice scene but just a couple minutes from everything in town. Everything worked as it should, and even though there was no A/C, it was cold enough at night to mean it was very comfortable. Cleaning crew was missing some detail around dusting, cobwebs, and there was a children's shoe under the couch which means they didnt clean under the couch. those had little to no impact on our stay, the beds were fine, kitchen had what we needed, hot tub worked great, appliances worked fine. Unlike a lot of cabins we stayed in, this one was MUCH bigger especially for the price, plenty of room for my family of 5. being in the wooded area also meant regular sightings of Elk, wild horses and deer! kids loved that Location was perfect as it was less than 5 minutes from downtown area with food and shopping but out of the way of traffic and noise. plenty of towels, plenty of dishes, plenty seating and a great place to stay while on vacation

The Ruidoso area was beautiful. The VRBO house did not meet my expectations. The pictures did not accurately show what we received.The deck and furniture were filthy.Carpet was stained, furniture out dated, dishwasher needs to be screwed in place. I would not recommend this property.

Cabin is in a quaint neighborhood, close to downtown and with plenty of wildlife. Upon checkin the code was incorrect, but after calling we were able to get the correct code. The beds could definitely use updating, I ended up sleeping on the couch which was way more comfortable than the master bed. We had an issue with plumbing called Saturday and the maintenance man was there Sunday morning and very friendly! Overall I would stay again but definitely would recommend new mattresses. The hot tub was a definite highlight of our trip!

Terrible dirty carpet, no seating for 5 in the living room. Old dirty bedspread master bedroom holes in blankets avacodo green bathtub drain plugged, old cooking utinsels very spars bugs crawling on people in the night Not what I expected for what I paid very disappointing needs a lot of attention

Our kids have never been past Bonita Park so seeing the cute town of Ruidoso was enjoyable for them. We LOVED the hot tub under the stars and they tried the mountain coaster. Good restaurants and we liked the neighborhood.

This was a very nice location and cabin. It had a few things that could be done to make it nicer. First, the master bedroom carpet was really bad. Several stains on it. The walls were dirty and could use paint and the bed was pretty bad. I liked the kitchen. We cook everyday and had everything we need. The dishwasher was nice and the Hot tub was great.

I traveled with my elderly mother, and we came into town a little earlier than expected, so i reached out to the manager/owner in hopes of checking in early. It took several hours to get a response and was coldly reminded that check-in was 4pm. Later, i messaged them that the TV in the master bedroom had parental locks and needed a code. I NEVER received a response. The house was old, the pictures make it look nice but the carpet is old, bathroom is 1980's, the towels are very old and used, the carpeting is musky. They list it as rustic, but it is just old. Even the flooring was severely slanted that my mother would lose her balance. It's definitely not worth the $700 I paid for 3 nights.

Great Stay and Good Times

We had a great time. They allow pets but the master carpet was absolutely dirty. Need to use the deposits to clean or put in hard flooring. The location was great. The porch was so awesome. A few things did not work like the outlet at the master bath but there are close plugs. The dishwasher did not work, but we were OK washing by hand. We would stay again if carpet addressed.

It was a nice area. We got to see deer and horses. The cabin itself was ok. It smelled like urine, but staff was very nice.

The carpet and rugs were very dirty. The light fixtures above the kitchen table has spider webs. The kitchen table was very stained and dirty. Kitchen cabinets were greasy. Kitchen pans were rusty. Barbecue grill was dirty and rusty. I will never stay here again. Definitely not worth the amount I paid. I was very disappointed. I can send pictures if needed.

The cabin was very nice and very close to town, just five minute drive to mid-town. The cabin did not suffer in the flooding, though damage is evident along the creek. One quibble: not enough light in the bedrooms. Lots of deer, horses and elk visited. We shall return.
