Cedar Rest is a Charming Cabin Just 17 Miles From Gates Of Yellowstone

This cabin was perfect for a trip to Yellowstone. It’s about 15 minutes from the west entrance gate. It was very cozy and had everything you needed. The master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in on a vacation. The cabin stayed warm and was very quiet. I would recommend this to anyone!

Beautiful cabin, very clean and well kept. Just far enough from yellowstone park to be close but away from the crowds. I would highly recommend this place.

Cabin was perfect for 6 of us. It was very clean and was well stocked with basics. Beds were comfortable and water hot - couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Cabin was very clean and exceptionally stocked. Everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds. Close to W Yellowstone and the west gate. Nice front and back porch for sitting and drinking coffee. This cabin is in a small neighborhood. Would stay here again.

This cabin in Island Park is exactly as advertised. It is clean, fully stocked, great kitchen, has comfortable beds, and conveniently located from West Yellowstone.We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay and give high praise for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the woods.

Stayed here during a family trip to Yellowstone. Short distance to the Wedt Entrance. Had everything we wanted. Ladies were so easy to work with and very accommodating when we need to stench our reservation around. Peaceful and quiet area. Would absolutely stay here again. Zero complaints!

Cabin was nice, very accommodating, four adults, plenty of room. Nice location, 17 miles from west Yellowstone entrance, Beds were ok but not extremely comfortable. Not all the burners on the stove work correctly, inside element burnt out on one burner. Guest bathroom toilet is set to where a little water runs through continuously to keep water in cabin from freezing, very difficult to flush and annoying. Clothes washer needs a good cleaning , has a faint mildew smell. With a little maintenance would be an A accommodation, I would rate it a B .

We really enjoyed our stay. This place is spacious and perfectly located just a short, beautiful drive to the Yellowstone entrance and all the places we wanted to explore. Everything was easy, from check in to check out, and our host was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this wonderful house!

The property is perfect for a family getaway!

The cabin is beautiful inside! We walked in and even my teenagers were impressed (and that's hard to accomplish!). The cabin looked brand new and had everything we needed for our family of 5. It's in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end road about 20-25 mins from the West Entrance of Yellowstone. There are other cabins nearby but we never really saw or heard other people. So nice to have washer and dryer and air conditioning, which is apparently not common here. We would not hesitate to stay here again if ever back in the area!! We ate at Connie's in Island Park for dinner one night and it was good. I will say, for those coming to the area, we had zero cell signal in Island Park, West Yellowstone, the park and all surrounding areas, so if you're wanting to think about looking up restaurants or maps or anything be sure and do so while you are at the cabin with good WiFi!

This cabin was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone. It's 20 minutes from the west entrance and is located in a quiet area. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures and had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. It was clean, and the kitchen had all the pots/pans/gadgets we needed (though the toaster was pretty finicky). It reminded us a lot of our own cabin, so we felt right at home!
