Stayed Aug 23, 2024The cabin was rustic yet had tv and WiFi which was great. The location was perfect for visiting the national park. We also appreciated the coffee since we had not thought to bring any.

Stayed Oct 6, 2025This rustic and slightly dilapidated cabin was cozy, private, and very near the entrance to Mt Rainier Nat’l Park. :) The linens & towels were all very nice and clean, however, we would suggest using fragrance free laundry soap. The pillows were nice and the beds were comfortable, but on the firm side. The kitchen was missing any oven mitts and good cutting knives. We didn’t feel like the water was a strong mineral flavor, but then we ‘re on a well at home ;). The fireplace may be its best feature, but no wood provided. It was generally comfortable, however, we thought it a little over priced. When we walked in, onto a thread-bare carpet, the floor beneath gave way under our feet. The bathroom cabinet needs an upgrade. (See pics) The front side of the cabin is definitely settled so the floor is not level, making us feel off-balance walking down the hallway! The bedroom doors are propped open with door stops for this reason, or they would close of their own accord. The driveway access to the cabin was a bit sketchy and I can’t imagine doing it in winter. We’ll be looking for a more updated cabin next time we head to Ashford. Overall, we appreciated this stay on short notice. A sense of adventure and a sense of humor is needed here!

Stayed Aug 4, 2024It’s an old, cramped cabin. A few fix ups to the shower doors, the medicine cabinet and cobweb removal would really help.

Stayed Aug 10, 2023This cabin is super cute, and part of a set of cabins managed on the same property all together. It was easy to check-in and very convenient to access the park entrance from this side of the national park. It could use some small upgrades in older appliances, but everything worked and overall we had a great stay! If you plan to stay here, be sure to do your groceries and get a full tank of gas lower down, because the little shops up in Ashford can be expensive!

Stayed Sep 19, 2022peaceful and quiet forest setting. We had stayed in this cabin years ago (had previous owners) and cabin is still maintained well with one exception: the overhead lights in kitchen did not work, nor did hood light on range. We had to use a flashlight to see settings on microwave and toaster.
