Catch some R&R with Timber Lodging

This place was beyond cute and well set up. We loved the outdoor fire pit and the hot tub. We hiked approximately 6 miles a day and coming back to this home and having the hot tub to help relax us, was invaluable! The beds were probably some of the most comfortable beds I’ve had in a rental and I rent a lot of places. We had a minor incident with the air conditioning, but the host addressed it immediately and was great with the communication. We did a four night girls trip and both of my friends continually talked about how much they loved this place and the fact that it was just perfect.

This cabin was by far one of the best we have ever stayed at while visiting Hocking Hills. It was just close enough to everything we wanted to do in town, but secluded enough that we could stargaze without light pollution every night. The hot tub was was so clean as was the cabin and the grounds. The hosts were wonderful and very informative, I can not say enough about how much we loved our stay!

Brand new large hot tub was enjoyable, as was the wood burning fireplace on the cool nights. The dock and pond were nice to visit in the late afternoon and the front porch swing was delightful in the morning to drink coffee and bird watch. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Our family had a wonderful getaway. The property is beautiful and in a very peaceful location. We would highly recommend and look forward to our next trip.

Amazing cabin! Clean, stocked, and peaceful. From the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable king sized bed, this place has everything you could want. So peaceful in February cozy by the fire, but would love to come back in the summer time to enjoy more of the outdoor spaces. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at this secluded cabin! Set on 16 beautiful acres, it was the perfect spot for family bonding. The new hot tub was a highlight, providing relaxation after our fishing adventures. We loved the comfortable king bed and enjoyed every moment in this peaceful setting. A wonderful getaway for reconnecting with loved ones! Highly recommend!

This cabin was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The beds were probably the best we've ever found in a rental. The deck is large and the jets in the hot tub are of high quality. We enjoyed the firepit as well as the indoor fireplace. If you are a lover of natural beauty, privacy, peace and quiet, then this is for you.

The cabin and property was absolutely Beautiful.The hot tub was fabulous. The downstairs was excellent with a great Pool Table, TV and Dart Board. My husband loved grilling on the big Web Grill.. We are Never disappointed when we stay at the beautiful cabin. Its really nice to see the owners put money back into the property to continue to get everything up to date and top notch. We will never stay any while else when we come down here. Thanks Ryan and Robin for great communication and a great stay again.

We arrived right on time 4:00 pm, to receive a phone call once we had pulled onto the property that it had not been cleaned yet. We ran to town which is 30 minutes away one way. When we got back it had been cleaned. I’m amazed one person can clean an entire house in 90 minutes, change the sheets on 3 beds, and put out clean towels.

The propertywas very peaceful and inviting. Family enjoyed all the amenities that were offered and one family member enjoyed very much the new hot tub and king size bed!!!

Stayed here for Nelsonville Music Festival and was a nice drive to and from the festival with a great place to stay and keep cool. Close vanity to short hikes I did in the area and breweries down in Athens as well! Highly recommend for a hub to stay in or as a staycation the entire time!

We had such a nice weekend staying here. The hot tub was awesome, the fire pit was relaxing, and the beds were very comfy! We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday and a send off for a friend who’s leaving for the Navy. It was a really memorable/special weekend for all of us.

This is a great place for a relaxing stay with family or friends. Hot tub was amazing, and we really enjoy a wood-burning fire place. They are getting more and more difficult to find. We really enjoyed a lively battle of darts and spent our evenings preparing a meal, playing cards, and watching movies. Will definitely return next year.

My husband and I stayed in Feb, beautiful cabin, the min we got there it began to snow and with the hot tub everything was perfect . If you want a great getaway with partner or spouse, i highly recommend this cabin

My husband and I stayed for two days during the week in January '25. It was hovering around 0 degrees. We found the cabin to be very well stocked which is good since there are no stores close by. It was private, picturesque setting. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed. Fireplace was warm and cozy, firewood was available and convenient to pay for. We would stay there again!

This spot was gorgeous! Everything we needed for a little getaway weekend after all of the holiday hustle and bustle. Hoping to come back again soon!

This was an amazing weekend for myself my husband and our cousins. It was my birthday but also our cousin lost his dad so it was a great get away for all of us. Everything was so clean and relaxing. The STARS were AMAZING. Also watching the planets a line was a plus. We walked the trail around the pond, seen a crazy looking spike tree. Just all around wonderful weekend.

Super clean, and good as or better than pictured. Everything we needed was there for a relaxing weekend. Great modern hot tub, everything we needed in the kitchen too. Fireplace, pool table.. we used it all. Even the games in the closet! This will go on our return list for sure.

We took a weekend getaway to Timber Lodging and it was amazing! The property and cabin were gorgeous and just as pictured. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, playing pool and cooking in the kitchen. The bed was so comfortable we both slept like a baby. The cabin had so many amenities there wasn’t anything else we could have asked for to make our stay any better. The kitchen had everything we needed, movies, books, games, and plenty of wood available. The cabin is remote enough to feel away from it all but still within driving distance to many attractions including a distillery, a few wineries and many hiking trails. One of our favorite things was looking through the guest book and finding a little scavenger hunt if you will. If you choose to stay at this amazing cabin, make sure you look through the books too! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating as we had to stay an extra night due to literally being snowed in! Ryan kept me up to date on the weather and road conditions in the area to ensure our safety and comfort. He definitely went above and beyond!We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and already planning on our next visit in the warmer months. You will not regret choosing Timber Lodging!

You always know when someone takes pride in their home. Awesome cabin for peace and serenity. Im very critical and probably neurotic when it comes to clean homes, hotels, cabins etc. This place was spotless. Thank you! I will return

This is a really great property! Exactly what my wife and I were after for our weekend retreat.

This is our 2nd stay and we can't say enough good things about it. We do want to specifically mention that the bed is amazing! We highly recommend Timber Lodging and are looking forward to our next visit!

Our family (2 kids, 4yo & 6yo) stayed for a long weekend. The place was clean and beds comfortable. The layout was great for us. The girls loved their beds on the upper level. The property is very impressive. Check in and out was easy and clear. We enjoyed fires (both inside and out), had fun in the hot tub, and did some grilling. Driving to the Hocking Hills trails is easy, we did multiple. We were very happy with this cabin, and would absolutely recommend it!

Lots of wildlife, and the hot tub was tops! We immensely enjoyed our stay!

Start your morning on the porch swing watching the sun rise from behind the tree line and the fog swirling above the pond while listening to all the beautiful wildlife noises. Afternoon on the back deck while soaking in the hot tub with a beautiful view of the outdoors. End your evening with a fire. Play a game of pool, darts or board games they have. This cabin has everything one would need. The beds are beyond comfortable too. Host is responsive and friendly. We will definitely book again. Thank you!

Celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we couldn't be more pleased with this beautiful cabin in the woods. Everything about it was charming and beautiful. The furniture was extremely comfortable too. Couldn't ask for a better get-a-way place for any occasion!

Such a great experience! The cabin was remote with beautiful scenery and impeccable. Loved sitting on the front porch swing in the morning overlooking the pond. We made great use of the pool table and dart board. The primary bed was sooo comfortable! Can I just move in and live there???

Lovely quiet get away for my family.

We had a such great time on our short getaway! The property at timber lodging is secluded and absolutely gorgeous. It has a great deck and fire pit area with 6 nice adirondack chairs (with plenty of firewood on site for a small fee), a brand new hot tub, and a huge pond! The inside of the cabin is perfectly cozy, super clean, and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked well and the master bedroom bed is super comfy :) We will definitely be back ❤️
