Stayed Apr 19, 2024My sister and I had a wonderful weekend at the Caper Cabin!! Hiking trails accessible right out the front door, as well as a hot tub and absolutely charming cabin made for a lovely weekend!! We’ll definitely be back to continue exploring!

Stayed Jul 1, 2022We had such an amazing time over the 4th of July weekend! The property is centrally located and a short drive to amazing attractions and hikes. Our first time visiting Black Rock Mountain Sate Park, the views from the visitors center were breathtaking, we did the summit hike, my girls even saw their very first bear! Property was clean, quiet, outdoor area was fantastic, and there were games/tv for those afternoon summer thunderstorms.

Stayed Feb 12, 2022Perfect mountain retreat up in the rainforest. I loved being able to enjoy being so far up in the mountains, yet the town of Clayton is a quick 5-10 drive down the mountain. In Clayton I found an all day breakfast place called The Sunday Diner. Again, all day breakfast which was perfect for me. The sourdough pancakes are both delicious and massive. The scenery around the cabin is amazing. Great to watch sunsets, sunrises, and even the moon when the sky is clear. When it got too chilly and I didn't feel like building a bonfire, the TV was a welcome comfort. WiFi was plenty fast. Everything was extremely clean and well thought out. Overall, I'll definitely be back, especially since it's a quick, 1 hour and 45 minute drive back home to the suburbs.
