Stayed Oct 8, 2021The amenities and personal items were nicely stocked. Jacob (host) reached out to us prior to our arrival. The fresh flowers were surely an added touch!

Stayed Oct 18, 2019We enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful setting, and the cabin had everything we needed. Jacob was in touch upon our arrival, but we never needed his assistance, as everything went very smoothly. A great get-away!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at the Pisgah cottage last year for the first time and decided to return again this year because we enjoyed it so much. Very relaxing, peaceful and quiet. The mountain views are gorgeous both from the front porch and also the drive up to the cottage. The owner was very responsive both before and during our stay and made sure we were comfortable. Definitely recommend the cottage for anyone looking to enjoy the mountains. It's not far from Asheville either - 20/25 minutes max. I'm sure we'll be back again next year for the annual Asheville Yoga Festival, if not before! Great place.

Stayed Jul 8, 2019The house is small but well equipped with a great view of Mt. Pisgah and the surrounding mountains. Lots of hiking trails right out of the cabin - no need to drive or cross any roads. We say lots of wildlife around including wild turkey and deer, and an unbelievable abundance of Blue Swallowtail butterflies. The deck is nicely furnished with great views and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Just be aware that, as stated, the Internet service is slow and unreliable. Plan to have a relaxing unconnected time away from it all.

Stayed Nov 21, 2018Reserved this unbelievable location for Thanksgiving 2018. It surpassed all expectations. I wish I'd had more time to spend because the hiking is unbelievable! You could walk to the top of Mt. Pisgah in a day, stay overnight, and walk back the next day, if you were so inclined. Downtown Asheville is about 30 minutes away. If you're from a place where the leaves don't turn colors, try to come at the height of fall for a spectacular view of fall colors.

Stayed Oct 22, 2018Two couples stayed here. Perfect for visiting all the sights around Asheville but also for sitting on a rainy day just looking out the picture window and cooking on the outdoor grill. Nicely appointed. If you want “off the grid” this is the place. We saw wild turkey and deer right out our picture window. The view of the field and hills across the way are so relaxing anytime of day. Can’t miss kinda place.

Stayed Oct 19, 2018My friends and I completely enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin in Candler, just a 30 min drive from downtown Asheville. Jacob was a great host, always making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay more confortable and enjoyable. The cabin is well-equipped with all you need to spend your time here. The best thing about the cabin is the privacy of this place and the gorgeous views of the NC mountains. I would strongly recommend it to anyone interested in spending a few days next to their loved ones.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a very relaxing weekend here. The cabin is very secluded and private - we were able to disconnect and get away in a rustic, rural setting with a great view of Mt. Pisgah.
